Arizona +4.5 for 10 units... Here's the way i'm seeing this one. The Cowboy's 10 win's have came against overall defensive rankings 116th, 93rd, 108th, 55th, 88th, 112th, 104th, 96th, 13th & 100th. Of those 10 win's their opponents passing defenses were as follows 100th, 98th, 120th, 95th, 91st, 119th, 52nd, 114th, 8th & 68th. The Cowboy's 2 losses came against Nebraska 8th overall in defense and 7th against the pass and Oklahoma 61st overall and 56th against the pass. My take here is anyone that just clicks on the Cowboys to find that they rank 2nd overall in offense and 2nd overall in passing offense should understand they have played some pretty week defenses to help them get their IMO. Here are the team defenses that the Wildcats have faced so far: 62nd, 25th, 21st, 89th, 116th, 87th, 23rd, 24th, 56th, 97th & 85th and NR Citadel (Who they crushed 52-6). The Wildcats have wins over Iowa & California and actually held a 19-14 lead at halftime in Oregon. Underestimating this Wildcat team and their 29th overall defense and 43rd against the pass would be a big mistake IMO (Especially catching point's against a team that looks to be the product of a rather easy schedule). I'm not saying that the Cowboy's don't have a good offense but anyone who thinks those offensive number's from them aren't a bit inflated due to their schedule needs to reexamine things. It was clear to me this season that the Big 12 was nothing more than a product of having 4 teams that are arguably just products of their week conference this year (Mizzou, Neb, Okla & Okie St), because past them it's a whole lot of fruit cakes IMO. So yeah I think their is value in snagging these point's and I wish I would have acted on this a bit earlier to get and got a lovely +6 but I still love this play at +4.5 and would still take the point's at +3... Oklahoma -14 for 50 units...The Sooner's 2 losses this season came againt the Missouri Tigers and the Texas A&M Aggies. 2 teams that are excellent passing squads (Something Uconn is not). Uconn relies heavily on the run as they have ran the ball 454 times this season compared to passing it just 315 times ( thats 59% to the run). Uconn's fate in this game is resting squarely on the shoulders of Jordan Todman (Uconn's starting rb) as he has accounted for 43% of the Huskies yards on offense this season. The Uconn defense may be able to keep this game close at time's but the way I see it it's only a matter of time before the many adantages that the Sooners possess, will take over this game on both sides of the ball. While the Sooner's should be geared in on taking Todman out of the game the Huskies are going to have to worry about defending that well balanced offense of the Sooners as they favor the pass at 55% passing the ball 583 times compared to rushing it 483 times ( thats minus Landry Jones 50 rushing attempts on paper as most of those are not by choice). Too many option's for the Huskies to handle in this one IMO and laying 2 td's here is completely within the relms of justice IMO in a game I can more than see the Sooners winning by a score of 4td's or more. That passing game from the Sooners will be the difference in this one though and it should help strecth a victory well passed 2 td's on the scoreboard in the end...POY#2
