Caesars had the alt win total 6+ at this great price with everyone else -130 to -170 .. alas the good price is gone but can find -130 at BM .. We liked tulsa ALOT last year with coach lamb coming in and with a bit of talent on the roster .. much unproven .. we hit some over 2.5 and over 3.5's expecting this group to gel over the year and find some spots to win close games .. this year the cat is getting out the bag a little bit but maybe not all the way out .. I think this team looks AWESOME and checks a good number of THOSE boxes we like in a win total .. 2nd year coach we like with solid retention and decent portal additions .. we got 2 QB's that can win games for us .. a few real solid units esp RB, DL, DE, CB, SAF .. There's some concern in the LB group but there's some optimism too with major dude player back from inj this year .. really like to know my kicker is a dude .. we don't for sure but we have 2 with decent potential and lot of big expectations for kick / punt ret game .. TE lost a MAJOR DUDE and its the only unit I find real concerning .. There's some range for units like OL and WR .. have the numbers and potential .. if we see that and a TE emerge this team could very well be in the mix for a conf game spot late in the season .. tough to call for them to make it or win it .. but I put some early money on them at 50-1 ..

Can't really claim this as a play since there won't me much north of 20-1 right now .. hit this one during my hiatus .. sorry folks .. but whatever I'll post it and you can root for me .... And ... I'll put it this way .. Tulsa might get blown to smithereens after their date with OK State .. Pokes have to avenge last years' loss in a big way .. if they get slammed to the turf in that one we might see a bump .. also they play a roadie at Navy early in the conf slate .. if we like what we see early but can't handle the Middies on the road we should expect to take down some good odds for the conf at that point after we already have 6 games of peek-a-boo looking at these guys .. rest of the conf slate won't be THAT tough assuming they can get past Army and Tulane is not anything special .. could come down to the showdown ssn finale @UTSA .. tough to win that but again I like this team and think maybe 20x is maybe too low without having seen them play yet .. could have a chance to get at least that later ..

It wasn't easy to land on this one but there's alot to like about this team and the potential to get re-orientated quickly .. Mora is a great coach to get the rams out of their HORRIFIC SPOT they dug themselves into the last 5 or more years really horrific .. I like the OC they brought on and running a 3-man D I do like that they kept the DC on .. Last year the injury list was INSANE and the team stunk otherwise .. this year we actually have something good to work with .. Hauss Hejney was on the verge of his breakout year at OK State when he got injured weeek 1 .. he sent all their other backup QB's packing after spring .. it was obvious then and is now this guy is a dude .. I like the other QB's they got too .. unproven but the UCONN kid Farner sounds like he's stepped up and I liked what we saw from Darius "Spit in yo face" Curry .. gotta tame him but I expect both of them are capable of stepping in and winning a game for us at some pt in the ssn .. point is we have a decent QB bench with two more potentially capable, good chance one will emerge from there if needed...
RB room is a UCONN reunion with 3 former Husky's and we like the top 2 alot and 3rd has potential .. TE room is bangin we might see consistent 2 and sometimes 3 TE's in the game .. I also like that a number of Mora's OL's came along and under the pass coord coach elevated to OC .. just alot of UCONN continuity here I think makes a big diff getting the new culture and attitude right .. Defense is not A+ but its a group with some sure thing dudes and one that can really break out big this year .. I also like the ST Kicker from UNT .. hit 12/13 last year, perfect 150-150 on EP's in 2 yrs .. guys consistent puttin it thru and kinda guy that will win us a close game or two this year ..
Big concern is really the WR group .. maaaan they need some guys to step up .. if we start seeing WR's pop out of the unit this is a reallllly great sign .. obvi we need Hejny to work out and get him the ball but the run game might end up being one of the best .. Hejny is a dude with wheels and we know winning will start and finish with the run game with this group ..
Other big concern is the PAC looks really fun this year .. every team has at least a reason to like their QB situation even Utah State bronco's produced QB's every year and expect him to find one again .. Oreg State has new air raid coaches much better fit for malik the freak murphy .. if CSU doesn't make a decent stride then its possible we tank this win total but maaan they won 4 last year with THAT PILE OF CRAP team .. RAMS improve to capable they also finally get to make use of a HUGE elevation / HFA boost that hasn't done much for them over the years .. love the idea of Mora grinding a team Wyoming style at 5k feet, not taking 50+ sacks a year like they have been ..
I think we got a great chance to beat WYO, FCS, Oreg St at home .. and I wouldn't count us out vs any team besides BYU and maybe real tough spot @Wash State .. the finale vs Tex State coming to town in the finale flex game feels like one the RAMS can go out on a great note .. recall it doesn't count for conf and Bobs will be 7th straight game and in high elevation cold .. good luck bobs lol ..

COLORADO STATE OVER 3.5 -150 (MGM)
