Bowl Specials....Part 2 - Weekday tilts....

I played Louisville last night at 2.5 which was a sweet feeling winning by .5 pts. My local was pissed today HAHA. He might be even more mad tonight. I am waiting until 7 to call him on this game expecting a line around 16. I really like Boise to bounce back tonight. They have a lot of seniors on this team and I think they will want to prove everyone wrong and that they can beat anyone in America. I dont see Peterson laying his foot off the gas, I also think Boise is a different animal than any team in America and they always come out guns blazing (even in the Nevada loss it was 24-7 at half).

Utah is overrated. You must hate that team after their no show vs TCU when you had Utah at home. That was so pathetic and I think Boise is better then TCU and this game is being played at a neutral site instead of at Utah. I also love the fact there was a fight a few days ago at the Hard Rock Cafe between these teams and that the Utah WR called out Boise on Twitter. Thats all this team needs, more motivation!

Couldn't decide on this game tonight, so being the action junkie that I am, I decided to tail you on the 1st half under.  I got 31 at blowdog.  Good luck to us.

Your first sentence is why I wouldnt bet on Utah for the game without at least 17. Petersen is the best coach in the country and his teams usually play all 60 minutes.

Your second sentence is completely accurate. I got a slight moral victory on them the next week betting on ND, but what a bunch of pansies. They had one good opportunity this year and pissed it away. Maybe that motivates them here tonight? I dont know. I just hope the defenses step up.

          Just now getting back on my feet, RJ, and wanted to take this time to wish you, your family and friends, and especially your mother in law, the happiest of holiday's, despite the circumstances.    Really have missed the banter, but all things happen for a reason and I guess you better than anyone, realize that.  You seem to be one of the most "grounded" posters on this site, besides being a hell of a handicapper.  Here's to a great Christmas for you and yours, and even a better year ahead.  Will be back around soon, so watch what you say.  (Obviously just kidding)  BOL

Things with the MIL have been tough on my lady. She is up in Buffalo seeing her now - she has no more hair etc. The treatment is taking a lot out of her and it seems even more out of my lady. Its not easy.

I hope to see you around more - helps make my workday go quicker, ha.

any thoughts on the Hawaii game??

playing Hawaii on the Islands is hard enough, much less in a bowl game..

I think we see a motivated Tulsa team tonight. A lot of talk about playing Hawaii on the island, the history etc. I think Tulsa wants to prove that wrong. If they are taking the trip as a vacation, I am fucked, admittedly.

Tulsa will move the ball, they are one of the most impressively balanced teams in the nation. Kinne, ex-Texas recruit, is very impressive and mature in the pocket. Hawaii does not do enough defensively to give them a problem.

I really see this as a game in which the team that has the ball last wins.

You have any thoughts on Sunday's bowl game?  I was originally leaning Toledo, but looking at how FI dismantled Troy and how good Troy looked last week, and how Northern Illinois trounced Florida International, I am going the other way.

There are three bowl games I am absolutely giddy about. FIU over Toledo, VT over Stanford and BC over Nevada.

About the FIU game, its a game I have talked about a few times on this board. Toledo is the biggest fraud. No wins over any good teams. This team peaked way early. FIU has some of the most impressive losses in the country and this team will come to play. They are glad to go bowling and will show it in a big way.

Cant wait for tomorrow night, really.

Grab that BC line ASAP.  I missed the boat on 10, but got 9.5...I think they win SU.

Glad we're on the same page.  I love FIU tomorrow as well.  I completely gummed up my comment on the game earlier in the day.  What I meant to say is while FIU trounced Troy who looked real good this bowl season, TOLEDO got beaten horribly by a similar team who played well this bowl season(N Ill).   

Can't say the same for VT though.
