What are you thinking for the Music City Bowl, I've been leaning UNC all this time but I hate fading the SEC in bowl games and its a big deal for UT to be in a bowl game after the way their season started, not to mention... It's like a fuckin home game for them tonight in Nashville
I will take UNC and that defense against Tyler Bray all day, every day.

Wont post the line I have as it is unavailable now, but I think Cuse gets it done today. They can do just about everything on defense - stop the run, stop the pass, limit their opponents to field goals - they are very talented.
On the other hand, K St hasnt really been able to stop much. They have given up over 40 points in their last 3 contests. They have been atrocious away from home, giving up 6.5 yards per carry - that # balloons to 7.4 yards per carry if looking at the last 3 games.
I think I have a coaching advantage and a defensive advantage and thats enough for me in a bowl game.

Again, betting on a defense to get it done. Tenny was playing a bit above their heads by the end of the year and I think that the time off catches up to them here and throws them off a bit.
UNC came into the season with high expectations behind a defense littered with first and second round picks, but eligibility issues really threw this team in a tailspin. I think they want to go out on a high note. They have lost their last 3 bowl games and Senior QB TJ Yates is the best player on the field. He completes over 65% of his passes and has really stepped up while his playmakers have went down - we miss you Greg Little.

Just playing this one based on motivation. Washington has a lot to prove this bowl season. Locker has a lot to prove. They are playing with some revenge. My asshole puckered as I made this bet the other day, we all saw what Neb did to them early in the year, but I play spots and I cant pass this one up.

Both of these teams are hideous offensively. I dont expect much scoring, although these are the games that somehow sneak over, usually.
I dont care about Daniels and his status, I dont care about Ellington. This is a play on the coaching staff of USF and against the coaching staff of Clemson. I dont care about the players taking the field here, they are negligible.
I am playing against Dabo Swinney and him being so over his head, its ridiculous. I will take Holtz in a big game just about any time and any place against Swinney, even in his own backyard. Low total means Vegas isnt expecting points, so the 6 seem generous.

I have the best player on the field here, but I am betting against my man-crush on Spurrier. I think Ponder shows up in a big way tonight. This is the healthiest he has been in a while, the time off for him was great.
I also get to bet against Garcia, who is so jekyll and hyde, its unbelievable. He is the most inconsistent college player I have ever seen - BJ Daniels not withstanding. Since FSU is the best team in the nation at getting to the QB, I see this giving SC some fits. Garcia makes a few forced errors and FSU plays with good field position.
A bit nervous about Lattimore and Jeffery, but there are going to be another 20 players on the field any time they are. I am hoping that evens things out a bit.

Also, clemson has a severe FG problem, only 12 on the year and connecting at a 57% rate. They go for it a lot on 4th at or near the red zone to avoid having to try a fg. Not a good thing vs a team with a defense as they leave a lot of points and mojo on the field. All their losses this year were to defensive teams and I';m hoping for another one today. Bulls +200ml for me.

Glad you touched on the FG thing. I was going to mention it, but I wasnt sure if it happened all year, or just the games I saw - and I didnt feel like researching it. But I did notice Dabo doesnt want to try FGs. You will never build confidence in a kid if you dont give him the chances and I dont think he realizes that. I think he has crushed this kid as the year has gone on.
