I hear ya bro. I just love the way WVU closed out the season. Very strong. I was at the backyard brawl, and they were very physical. My thoughts are that WVU will impose their will tonight. NC State definitely has a coaching advantage and Wilson is a stud, but I will roll with the better defense and more physical football team. Go Hawkeyes, as I will probably tail ya on that one.

Hey Sizzle,

I didn't end up playing anything either yesterday but both my leans hit (the Under and Air Force). I don't think either side was really a good play as Air Force won because of a muffed punt but the I really feel like I missed out on a great opportunity on the Under. That was a lock and there arent a lot of those.

Anyways, I love NC State today. We get the better QB, the better coach, and pts!!! This doesn't happen very often. O'Brien is also great in bowl games covering 7 of his last 8. I also read SatNightFever's thread about the offenses WV has played. I knew they had played nobody good all year on offense and thats why their D looks good on paper. I have seen them play 4 times this year and they look like crap. Meanwhile, NC State gave Va Tech one hell of a game this year and they beat FSU. I will also always take the ACC over the SEC and the team that has played harder competition. Only thing I am worried about is NC States pass protection. I still think they win this game straight up so I will always take the FG.

I have no opinion on the other game tonight. Both teams have very good defenses and played hard schedules. I think Iowa has the better coach but Mizz has the better QB. Iowa is more physical but Mizz has better athletes and is faster. Both teams play contrasting styles on offense. Should be a really fun game to watch but I won't have a play.

Thanks boys....

A little FYI on the one thing I see being mentioned over and over again about the WVA/NC State game....

WVA is 3rd in the country at getting to the quarterback - probably not a surprise for such a blitz-happy squad that plays in a traditional football conference (read: not everyone runs the spread) as you get more drop-back QBs.

But, the impressive reason why that means nothing? How am I going to discount such an amazing stat for West Va? Getting 45 sacks on the year is impressive.

NC State has already played FSU. What does FSU do better than anyone else in the country? They get to the quarterback. Thats right, FSU gets the sack more than any other squad in the country. Well...what happened when they played FSU? They killed them on the ground with Wilson runs and little dump-offs.

The cool thing SNF, is that I dont think they ever do. Its almost the best part.

Going to throw 5 Units on Mizzou -3 ev for the 2nd Half

Iowa just with a propensity to play close ones

That really did look like one team in one class and one in another.

Weird that they have the same WR coach as Utah for their bowl game - dropsies!! Still a walk, though.

Mizzou 2nd H now -3.5 and -120 at my book...

This game looks pretty even on paper, but I think its a bit of a mismatch.

Baylor is finally bowling, great for them. But what happened after they learned of themselves going bowling? They tanked. It was almost as if they just wanted to get in a bowl game, but didnt care if it was a good one or not.

I just dont see any other way this game plays out other than Illy running the ball down Baylor's throat all night. You dont want to look at Baylor against the run, the #s are atrocious.

I dont care that the game is in Houston, Baylor fans, yadda, yadda, yadda - its all factored into the line.

Do I like Zook? No. But do I have a problem betting on him with some time to prepare? No, not at all. See the Ohio State game this year.

Well, this is a play I have been looking forward to for a while. Okie State is a complete fraud. Zona is out to prove something.

Teams that finish the regular season on losing streaks and play high winning % teams in the bowls typically fare outstanding ATS in the bowl game.

Again, another team that I think can run the ball all game here. I think Antolin has a big game.

We all know about Blackmon, the guy is an animal. But what about Juron Criner? I think he gets his name out there tonight. The guy is a playmaker. With Foles healthy as he has been in a while, I think they get the ball to Criner a bit tonight.

I think the Zona defense is lightyears ahead of Okie State - the D Ends Zona has are very good. I think defense wins bowl games, Okie State just doesnt have any.

Great analysis. The last thing people saw from Arizona is them getting blown out in the 2nd half against Oregon and that epic chokejob from the FG kicker against ASU. Okie St.'s defense is trash and Foles and Co. should dink and dunk them to death. Baylor is just awful at stopping the run, and LeShoure will have about 250 yards rushing. Just contain Griffin and the Illini should win this one.

Any thoughts on the Maryland/ECU game? Total looks low to me.
