BOWL Betting Strategy / Notes / Game Analysis...
*if you just stop betting > you lose for sure
*so maybe make fewer bets...for less money...or use in-game betting and / or half time stuff (which is what I'll do).........I almost never do like most folks...and just watch an obvious loser and whine...but rather look for an in-game bet to get some back.....like Baylor last nite....as it was obvious very early that UCLA was out-matched....if unsure of course just let it go
*eg. today I'll make a small bet on Ohio/ULM OVER that's it....and in-game or half time stuff on others ....if any.......
note : if you have a time honored strategy.... hopefully that breaks a game down from all angles...you won't continue to lose money....BUT...if you knee-jerk...and keep changing strategies ....searching for an easy angle...you might only make it worse
$$ most importantly...don't chase your losses
KEY > I HATE a big swing and a miss...like UCLA and Fresno...but best to remember most of these games (esp bowls) can go either way...so just because you lost a bet....you weren't necessarily wrong...........
*yes....those that do no work struggle to grasp this...unless I'm betting large....often I would rather be RIGHT and lose...than WRONG....and squirrel out a W...... seriously
-----------------------------------------------------------
Speaking of half time stuff...so far

MOTIVATION

MATCH-UP
*Rutgers with the stronger D...especially vs the run ....putting all the pressure on VT QB Thomas (53%...17 TD / 14 INT)..as WR and RB's shaky at best
Scarlet Knight O will have similar issues...but have a dangerous (and huge) group of WR's....and a nice RB (healthier) in Jamison....and OL offers better protection
Recommendation
*both teams turned the ball over late in the year...and can also force TO's....so what appears to be a very low scoring game may open up a bit..both teams will need throw the ball to have a chance to win
Hokies are dangerous here....but I look for Rutgers to stay close or win...a relatively high scoring game

*LSU much tougher (#27 > 67)
*Clemson - st CB Breeland (should be) out..b/u OL Anthony out...b/u WR (deep threat / 31 yds/catch) Bryant OUT
LSU - P Brad Wing OUT...b/u RB Blue OUT
TRENDS
*game - *******SU winner is 14-0 ATS *************
*Clem - 1-7 ATS bowl run.....5-9 SU/ATS vs SEC....got slaughtered by WV LY in Orange Bowl....all games 19-6 ATS as <7 pt dog
* THE HAT top bowl coach (5-2/5-2)....7-2/6-3 as a bowl fav....9-0 UNDER vs good running teams (4.4/rush+)
MOTIVATION
*big edge to Clemson...looking to bounce back from LY's gutless performance vs WV and must be tired of getting their azz kicked by SEC...LSU playing for BCS title game only
MATCH-UP
*looking at the way S Caro handled Clemson (with b/u QB)....a MOTIVATED LSU crushes Clemson here...as the vulnerable (why?) Clemson D get's eventually run over..
BUT....after Bama LSU...kinda sorta checked it in...not being able to run at all vs Miss St...Ole Miss...and the mighty Ark D....QB Mettenberger just OK
LSU pass rush not as ferocious as year's past...and if Ole Miss can get 462....and Ark 458....Clemson (with arguably nation's best playmakers) can surely move it here....Clemson not bad vs run..(weakness is pass D)...possibly putting the pressure to win it on Mettenberger
WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN
*LSU shows up less than fully focused....Clemson wins a tough/lower scoring game
BOL boys.......................
*appreciate not getting blasted too.....
it's more painful to give bad advice....than to lose bets really.........(I'm a strange guy what can I say)
IMO there are very few bets that make sense really....most of my stuff is in-game or halftime
*what I tried to do was give a recommendation on the side and total for each game..which was interpreted by many as 2 plays...(no).....so I'll switch back to old style
here's what I like the rest of the way.........
SOLID
*NW...Kan St...Kent St...N Dame
probably
*S Caro....Wisky...Ole Miss
maybe......OU...Georgia
