Couple Beers

Thinking out loud on the Yankees today.

A few reasons I like them. The offense looks like it’s starting to come around and with Judge back, Warren has been throwing the ball well, and they get Kremer, who has struggled.

There’s also something to the situation. They can wrap up a playoff spot today and they’re still chasing Tampa, so I’d expect them to manage this one aggressively. If Warren gets in trouble, there’s no reason to try to squeeze another inning out of him. Go to the bullpen and try to finish this thing today.

Still waiting on the lineup, but Yankees have my attention.

Dodgers F5 -0.5 -136 is still right there for me. Their lineup is now posted, and even with Freeman out, it’s a good lineup for facing the left-handed Lodolo

Seattle/Angels F5 Under 4

A few reasons I like it. Detmers has been outstanding since the break with a 1.37 ERA, and he’s coming off six scoreless against Boston. Seattle hasn’t exactly been lighting up left handed pithing either.

On the other side, Kade Anderson is still a rookie, but his last start was easily his best six innings, one run against Texas. The Angels have a couple right-handed bats that can hurt him, so that’s probably the biggest concern
