So Boise refused to play Nebraska and Florida, but agreed to play lowly Ole Miss?
Hmm, I wonder what all the Boise zealots have to say about that.
Assuming this is true I think that it is fair to say that MUCH more info needed to say here. What is their guide for not taking that game? Is it because they were scared or is it because of another logistical reason. My guess is that there is a shit load more that goes into scheduling games than any of here realize and logic tells me that this is why they turned it down (again assuming it was true). I find it hard to believe that a top level team who has proved can compete with the teams they play and surely knows that they struggle with image (no doubt they are aware when they slip in BCS rankings despite winning because of thier SOS) will just say no without solid logistical reason.

I give Boise lots of credit, beating UGA in a ROAD game...it's called the fucking GEORGIA DOME for god's sake....but this UGA team is not an elite national contender by any stretch, even though I respect Phil Steele and his #6 PS ranking of them.
The SEC is still the best conference, and to whoever mentioned the Auburn game, take a look how much they lost from last year. They have a total of 5 returning starters and lost one of the best CFB players we have seen in decades....That equates to moving to the back of the SEC pack again....
Bama, LSU, So. Carolina, and Florida are the class of the conference this year...

enough said!
i didn't get into this because it is pointless, that nobody has that info, but it is very simple-minded to claim that Boise is running scared... to say that is to completely ignore the evidence of the past few years... but like i said, not going to engage in this discussion...

and i agree with those who say the SEC is the best conference... don't really think it is up for debate this year, and obviously Boise beating UGA doesn't change that... Auburn is not a barometer for the SEC this year, and they will probably be lucky to win more than 5 games...

i am not going to do work you can easily do for yourself but are too lazy to do it... i read the forums just like you do... obviously those aren't exact quotes, because they obviously did not all say the same thing...
Jimmydafreak (for one) called UGA over Boise the best bet of the week... and i assure you, he has not subsequently given Boise their due... Tideman (or maybe it was Tiasman) said betting every single SEC team would win you money, and it would possibly be a clean sweep... JW also thought UGA would win and cover...
why don't you find me a link where any one of those 4 (or yourself for that matter) has come out and said they were wrong about Boise, and that Boise is a legit top 5 team in CFB...
but don't come in here and ask me to do your work for you, and act like because i refuse to do your work for you, that i am wrong about my claims... all you are proving there is that you are lazy!
Oh, so they DIDN’T say what you claimed they said.Gotcha.

Back in early 2010 Nebraska offered Boise a two game deal starting in 2015. One game at Nebraska. One game at Boise.
Boise refused.
Since Boise claims that they want to be considered among the best teams in the country you would think they would jump at the chance to showcase what they can do.
Ole Miss, on the other hand, well Boise gladly accepted that proposal.

You posted that they were “calling for an easy win by Georgia in this game, and are now simply saying Georgia blows.”
Those are your words. There is no need to twist them around.
Just another internet loudmouth that can’t admit when he is wrong.

So in the last four years they would accept a game with Oregon (twice) Georgia and V Tech but refuse a game with Nebraska because they are scared of them? Maybe so but does not add up to me. I find it hard to believe that it is that simple.

that would be the pot calling the kettle black, given the subject matter of this thread...
what exactly was i "wrong" about? you're the one who is too stupid to understand that when you "quote" several people at the same time, that you can only paraphrase what they have said... clearly, they did not all say the exact same thing, and for you to suggest that i'm "wrong" because you believe i was saying that they did all say the exact same thing, is proof that you are just another bullshit poster who tries to win an argument by changing the content of the argument, rather than addressing it's actual substance!
and since you are too clueless to have figured out the substance... it is the fact that the many SEC worshipers on this site went on record as believing strongly that Georgia would expose Boise as an over-rated football team who can't beat a legit SEC team on the road, and that all of them have failed to acknowledge that they were wrong, and that Boise is legitimately one of the best teams in college football...
and although i shouldn't have to say this to anyone with the common sense of a 12 year old: THAT IS NOT A DIRECT QUOTE!

of course it isn't... but simple-minded people make simple-minded arguments!

I never said Boise was scared of Nebraska.
It’s just weird how they bitch and moan that no one will play them then they refuse to play Nebraska.

There is a big difference between simply saying you think a small underdog will win a game and “calling for an easy win” and then when they lose “simply saying” that the team they bet on now blows.
You made the statement. When challenged to back it up you realized that you were talking about of your ass so you went on the offensive.
I’m man enough to admit when I am wrong.I did it in post #48.You, on the other hand, clearly are not.

Correct -- SEC is hands down the best conference. This should not even be a point of discussion.
i actually agree 100% w/this. i'm just sayin' boise deserves a ton of credite for beating an SEC team in their home state, fairly easily. some people seem to want to minimize this accomplishment, but it's all boise can do.

indeed... ironically, the function of what we are doing is only intended to help some people remove their heads from their asses so that they can start winning (rather than losing) money...

No, they didn't call an easy win for Georgia. They went a step further, saying " There's NO CHANCE Boise would beat Georgia". After the defeat, Georgia was simply overrated!!

You never directly used the word scared but not using that word is just a technicality. It was clearly implied in your post #82 (which is pasted below). How else is a person supposed to interpret this post? Especially the line about accepting the invite from Ole Miss.
But I also agree that I wish they would of scheduled Nebraska. Better yet it would be awesome to know who they have extended offers to and which of these teams have accepted / declined. And also would be nice to see who extended offers to them and how many Boise accepted / declined. Also would like to know the scenarios for the declines.
