Auburn sure looked good yesterday. Any claim the SEC has about being the best conference was shot down yesterday. Georgia lost in their own back yard against a team that has proven its competency over the last 5 years. Mississippi couldn't beat BYU in its own back yard. When was the last time LSU traveled to a non-border state to play anyone of note? They would never travel to Oregon or to California to play someone like USC because they know if they did it would be a whooping and they would not be the foot. Their victory was a struggle and its difficulty had nothing to do with their first-string QB not playing. But we know that if Auburn or Georgia gives Florida, Alabama or LSU a hard game the SEC backers would proclaim the toughness and balance of the conference. ITS GETTING OLD!!! If a great institution like Ohio St. must stoop down to the levels of the mighty cheating SEC powers to win, their needs to be changes made in the landscape of college football.
Name a conference that is better than the SEC. ![]()
