Boise beat the 8th best team in the SEC at a neutral site by two scores and you’re acting like they blew out Alabama in Tuscaloosa. 
skanless,,its no use making threads like this. Don't get me wrong,I am on your side,and have been a huge Boise backer. Nobody will give Boise credit when you start a post like this,but had last yr they were all sure praising how Georgia killed Boise the last time they played in 05,,and had Geo won last night this forum would have been chocked full of posts saying things about how we wont have to listen about Boise,and how they can't play in the SEC or any other major conf. Now that they went into Geo's home state and layed a beat-down on them,,all your going to hear is Geo is at the bottom of the SEC. So for everyone that thought this was the end of Boise,looks like your going to put up with them the whole year again. I'm not going to gloat about their win,the same way I won't make excuses if they lose like last year,thats why they play the games,,but I will continue to give Boise for credit for what they have done,,and tiasman,I agree with you that Okl prob don't want to play them in a big bowl again.

When you are up by three TDs late, and give up a long pass play with a couple mins left to cut it to 14, yeah, that's a beatdown.
I think skanless referenced the SEC thing because of a bunch of talk about how this SEC team with SEC speed was gonna cruise against a Boise team that might have lost just enough from last year (2 good WRs as well as some confidence after the Nevada debacle)
I bet on Georgia, thinking some of those things. I did worry about what Murray was gonna do without his top WR, since that's when he had his troubles before. And Richt was on the hotseat. Now he's got one foot out the door. Turned out to be the wrong bet. Boise is still really good and UGA is not that good.

Dont get me wrong, if in the SEC, BOISE likely wouldnt finish undefeated, but they'd shut-up alot of the haters by smashing their teams
Big win for BSU without question. Now they can focus on the rest of the schedule and beat up on mediocre talent. They beat an SEC team with solid talent and terrible coaching, and I'll even give you the road game part as well since it was in the Georgia dome.
Let's hope the NCAA gets their head out of their ass someday so a playoff will let us find out if they deserve a shot at the NC by letting them face 2 or 3 top tier teams from ANY conference at the end of the year. Most important for these forums is that they cover the fucking spread anyway, which they did last night....nice win

You would never say "Cruise" to 12-0 if they had road games at notre dame, nebraska, ohio state, iowa and northwestern like my mich st spartans do - not counting mich and wisconsin on the schedule.
