PRESEASON RANKINGS

 

Of course INJURIES, dismissals and/or SUSPENSIONS could wildly affect these, so I may need to adjust accordingly as the season gets underway. But for now this is how I see it shaping up, with thanks to Phil Steele's mag and Massey for some info that aided my views.

Louisville receiver Caullin Lacy broke his collarbone
during the final scrimmage of fall camp Saturday and
will be out "an extended period of time," the school announced.

Lacy, one of the top players to sign with the Cardinals
through the transfer portal, was expected to be their
No. 1 receiver.
an_light Last season at South Alabama, Lacy had 91 receptions for 1,316 yards

 

And Louisville must also replace its leading receiver from 2023,
James Thrash, who led the team with 69 catches

Ole Miss defensive lineman Zxavian Harris was arrested Sunday on domestic violence and obstructing arrest charges.

Harris appeared in 11 games last season for the Rebels and recorded 30 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss, a sack and three blocked kicks, which ranked second in the FBS. The 6-foot-7, 320-pound Harris had been projected to be in the line rotation this fall.

  I think they are solid at QB and their defense should be top 20 at the very least!
