Fubah2's risky start to my 2022 CFB season: (all my bets are from Bet365 unless indicated)
I usually profit with CFB but suffered a sub-standard 2021, so I'm looking for a rebound season, hopefully. Just as with the NFL, I hold off for the first few weeks to get a much better feel for how the teams are developing. For example, is KANSAS for real?!? They'll lose today but I think they are surprisingly competitive and very likely to stay within 2 TDs! Tulane is a feel good story and they are at home (backup QB has game, if needed). I have them rated significantly better than East Carolina, who have played a very weak schedule and this will be their first game at a HOME opponent.

Both these teams are very weak and virtually equal in ineptitude. Injury report shouldn't play a big part in this one. So getting more than 2 TDs here even on a roadie has value for me.

Tulsa/Temple Under 53.5 Points (Pointsbet) Tulsa is coming off a bye-week and will be fresh on the defensive end after getting steamrolled by Navy in their last game. Temple ranks 125th in Total Yards For and 128th in Points Scored on the offensive end, but they do have a solid run defense according to PFF and should be able to keep things tight. I don't trust either side to get much going in the passing game and see this one ending 27-13. Tyrese Haliburton Over 27.5 Points + Assist (BetMGM) This line is -110 on BetMGM and that feels like a steal for someone of Haliburtons caliber. The Spurs are one of the worst defenses in the association and currently rank 28th in terms of eFG% Allowed. Haliburton had a big game in the Pacers home-opener and will be needed again tonight if the Pacers hope to grab a win. Florida Panthers ML (BetRivers) I wasn't as low on the Lightning entering this season, but as they currently stand, I don't think they have the offense to beat the Panthers in Miami. Florida is one of the most efficient offenses in the NHL and with Matthew Tkachuk and Carter Verhaeghe leading the way on the offensive end, I project a 5-2 Panthers win here. Western KY -1.5 I have WKY and UAB rated just about dead even, which makes the homies at -1.5 a decent value here. Of course, lucky breaks have to be about even too or this could go either way easily. Two mobile QBs. No significant injuries reported. The game total is too iffy for me.
