TRANSFER portal (2 QBs)
HILLTOPPERS starting QB, VELTKAMP and their #2 QB, FINLEY are entering the portal. Significant change in betting odds! It is unknown if either will play vs JMU on Wednesday but consider likely they will NOT. #2 WR and starting TE also in portal along with numerous backups, as over 25 are leaving!

SAM HOUSTON ?!? YIKES!
Their coach has left for Temple. So, 20+ players bolting too! ...including 5 of their top 7 starting tacklers on defense (and best sack man!) their TOP RB, their TOP WR, and their backup QB.
It is unknown if any of these will play Thursday vs Ga.Southern but it is UNLIKELY.

MARSHALL's fine starting QB, Braylon Braxton has entered the portal.
He is not expected to play vs ARMY Dec 28.
The odds opened at ARMY -8.5....now it's -14.5
But I would hold off any bets at least until we can confirm no key player on ARMY gets injured in the games vs NAVY today!

Salute to Veterans Bowl 
W.Mich is coming off a close win AT HOME to a weaker opp. Prior to that they lost 3 straight and all were rated weaker than S.Alabama.
They have not played any team in conference play that is rated near S.Alabama. Their 5 wins in FBS play are all against significantly weaker teams than S.Alabama. They are 2 - 2 on the road in MAC con.
They are losing their top offensive receiver TE and best edge rusher/SACK man.
Jaguars will be playing a virtual home game in Alabama!
They are losing their TOP RB!!! ...but the backups are very solid!
Coming off a loss to an equal opp (but better than W.Mich!) ...so much more motivated to redeem themselves.
With the lone exception of Southern Miss, all their games were against opps rated at or BETTER than W.Mich. They are 2 - 2 at home vs those....includes opening game of season and their last game.
