I hope your kidding about this. Vegas has nothing to fear from the information distributed on this site. Do you think sportsbooks would advertise on covers if this site provided information that led people to boatloads of cash?

The reality is some of the best cappers here are huge college bball fans who truly know the game and the teams and some are purely system players who probably can't name more than 5 college bball players. The cappers I respect most are those that can justify their plays if someone is capping the game from another angle. They have no obligation to do so, of course, but it does make me think more about a game when I hear two different arguments for why one team will/won't cover. The same for system plays. Inevitably, systems collide all the time.

When people can respectfully disagree by offering arguments as why a posted pick may not win, and it leads to a fruitful discussion, we are all better off.

The kind of people who bet enough to move lines are not using this site. The fact that a helmut post has 1000 looks does not change the line one bit. Did you know that the average non-televised college basketball has 9 million dollars LEGALLY wagered on it. That is just the average and does not include bookies or offshore accounts.

Again, 

Helmut and others do nice jobs but no poster here moves the line based on his opinion....objectively speaking, the totals market is very volatile and it does not take a lot of money to move the line a point if money is played at one of the major books.....where it may take 20-50 dimes to move a side a point, it takes about 10% of that or less to move a CBB total.....Helmut does a nice job and has a nice following....if he bets a dime on a total and 50 other players follow his advice and play $200 each at a major book, it could easily move 2-3 points off the action.....it's simple economics....not fear of any poster on Covers....
