The Big East has been a laughing stock in the tournament thus far.  As for the "hotter team" I would say both of these teams are pretty damn hot right now.  They both won their conference tournaments and they both haven't lost in the NCAA tournament.  As for SDSU being a .500 team in the Big East... that is hilarious

The NBADraft.net Mock Draft is a year round, continuously updated projection of the NBA Draft.

While the NBA season is going on, the teams are projected in reverse order of record. Once the NBA season ends, the order of the teams from 15-60 are in place. After the May draft lottery, the official order of the draft is set.

The team needs are not factored into the mock draft until after the NBA season ends.NBADraft.net has been projecting the NBA draft since 2000.

Our projections are based on the opinions of the scouts that work for NBADraft.net, and the NBA and International scouts that we speak with.


Yes NBAdraft.net is such a more reputable site.


They dont even list who they employ as their scouts or their background information or knowledge as it compares to what they are writing and projecting about. They aren't even a professional scouting service. They use opinions of scouts. The two sites are night and day when it comes to how good and accurate the information is on their sites.

HELL S.DIEGO ST. PLAYED 2 RANKED TEAMS ALL YEAR. IN THE BIG EAST YOU PLAY A RANKED TEAM EVERY OTHER GAME.

Hilarious??? 2 ranked teams in a 36 game schedule and it took them 3 times to get by BYU and more recently 2 OT's to get by Temple. UCONN beat 4 ranked teams in 4 consecutive nights. The only reason this line is even is S.Diego ST's superior record. But UCONN's competition night-in and night-out has been much better than S. Diego ST's.

Their conference power ranking, RPI, kenpom rating etc is much stronger than you think.  Not sure what it is now, but mid-season, they were the 4th or 5th highest rated conference.... now they have 2 out of the last 16 teams..... lets see what people are saying about their conference when they have 2 of the last 8 teams!

Good converstation on what seems is going to be a good game.  While there is much conversation about Kemba, who without doubt is a top player, you do not really hear much about the rest of UConns players.  I think SDSU might have more depth and athleticism.  Their defense has been stifling holding teams to shooting in the 30's.  To win this game SDSU will have to put all aspects of their game together which they have not been able to do yet in the tournament, but still made it here.  Watch out if they do, if not they are done.  As far as schedule etc you can only play who is scheduled, for me this goes out the window in the tournament.  State's RPI was ranked third though at the end of the regular season.  State plans on using defense by committee as they did against Jimmer according to the papers and coaches here, meaning White, Gay, Leonard and possibly Franklin.  He will get his but will it be enough?  Hope not good luck all.

The other thing not mentioned so far: SDSU is the biggest team UConn will face all season (in terms of effective height).  UConn has a very nice 7 game winning streak, but those were all against teams which they had a size advantage on the inside.  They do NOT have that advantage against SDSU.  There will be little second chance points, kemba is going to be driving into a clogged lane and SDSU will have their own share of second chance points.  It will take another incredible game from Kemba for UConn to win.  Not saying that won't happen, but UConn bettors are going to be sweating this one!

Kemba is not the key player for UConn to win. It is Alex Oriakhi. When AO plays well and grabs 10+ boards UConn is at their best. They also need Lamb, Roscoe, Shabazz, and JCM (2 out of those 4) to play well and score in double digits.

I dont think SDSU has more depth. UConn goes 8 deep easy and might play 10 players. UConn has 10 players that average about 10 minutes a game while SDSU has 8.

I didn't say height would be an issue for UConn, i just said they won't have the same height advantage as they did against everyone they played the entire season.  SDSU's major contributers are bigger or the same size than their counterpart at the same positon (correct me if i am wrong).  Off the bench, SDSU has Brian Carlwell to match-up nicely with Charles Okwandu. 

UConn has the advantage with the better crunch time, go-to scorer, and SDSU's weakness is their offense can get into lulls at times (as we saw in the temple game). 

Its should be a back and forth game, with both teams battling on every possesion and the game coming down to the final moments....  

  I stay away from teasers, but a 5 point teaser with SDSU +6/under135 is a solid bet imo. (I have the lines at SDSU +1, 130 right now)

Really?  After their top six scorers the rest of the team averages 3 PPG or less even while playing that amount of time.  AO averages less then 10 a game while kemba is what 23?  And he is not the key?

It is Alex Oriakhi. Anyone who has watched UConn day in and day out will say the same.



UConn is 12-1 on the season when Oriakhi grabs 10+ boards. Kemba will get his, he is not the key to UConn going deep

When he disappears and doesn't rebound well. UConn struggles.

You know what is funny?

That UVA is such a joke, woop can only align himself with a conference and try to bash teams that are still PLAYING.

If you want to sit and debate with someone as dumb and sad as he is fine, but you would be better served hitting your head against a wall.

Whenever you ask him about how UVA is, all he can say is Big East this or that, or the fact that UConn is still alive, it is Big East this or that.

He even made up a lie to say people were saying a 13-18 Seton Hall team who lost to Rutgers in the BE Tourney first round was under consideration because they were hot.

If you want to talk about gambling as this is a GAMBLING site fine, but all the other nonsense is just stupid, none of it helps anyone make money.

Well then you are arguing right into me and exactly what i am saying!  Expect him to disappear and not rebound well against SDSU!!  SDSU has the size (both height and weight) to completely negate him.  They box out well as a team.  UConn has not played a team this big and athletic all season.  The game will be in kemba's hands to pull out a superstar performance.

You seem to be in love with UConn to the point you are contradicting yourself now.

Its about his effort and where his head is... Has little to due with size of the other team.

There were a stretch of games this year where he would grab 1 board or 2-3 boards. He just was not in the game mentally but that has changed over the past month after Kemba and Calhoun spoke with him about effort and how important his play and rebounding are to the team's success.
