KP's system threads have got to be the most positive that I've ever seen on covers. Maybe it's because the plays just keep on winning ;) either way, you're right - and it's good to see this brotherhood around here.

no offense to Kine, but no one paid much attention to him last year. There were a few of us who checked his plays out, but until this system, he wasn't getting much attention. He was the originator of the "alert plays". It's sad when someone who is as solid as Kine and Punkassmutha, get ignored. Glad Kine is getting his due now.

I played alot of his plays last year,dont remember him doing the pre-system plays though,but I didnt start from the first play either.
Nice day on his plays yesterday,I did take Delaware and Tenn-Martin both at 6,plus Montana St in sec half -2,to bad I lost a few other thatr I picked,lol.
Im not sure why its a big deal when someone asks for the plays,there are at least a dozen guys that have them,so is it that big a problem if someone puts them out for everyone?

Hey, KP or anyone who cares to comment. I am making some of thos "almost plays" full plays. For instance, making Pepperdine a play by buying a half point. Does anyone see that as a mistake? I will buy up to a point if necessary, and so far it 's been o.k. I have read all of KP's beginning threads explaining the system and I don't recall the Prof. revealing why the cutoff is 61/2 pts. Why not 5? Or 8? Maybe I missed it, but I can't see passing up an opportunity with this system over 1/2pt. or 1 pt. Comments welcome, and thanks a ton for showing us the way, Kine.

The 6.5 was set as more than two possessions. But he said you can tweak the system as you want. You can try and see if +6, +5, +4 and +3.5 work. And you can try teams better than #180 on kenpom. One guys said it works just as good with teams starting at #170, and that it's still pretty good starting at #160. Hence the "Almost" plays. Go easy and see.
So what are the closest plays by rank and by line tonight?

I think the "Almost System" Plays have done pretty good thus far.
Id like to know how many games actually required the 6.5 points?

They have indeed. I bought up both almost system plays last night to 6.5 and won them both. I think we saw the more than 2 possesion rule reason last night with Evansville losing by 6, that half point was the deal breaker. Havent had time to run tonights games, but is anyone seeing any almost plays?
