I totally agree the BIGGER the W-L streak the BIGGER the WAGER,,,,,,,,,,,Oddsmakers must bring it back to reality,,,,,,funny AUBURN i believe was in 08/09 at closure 21-8 ATS and currently is 1-4-0 with a ranking of #256 ,how quickly things can change,,,,,,,,,,,

Bowling green shit the bed so they now are 0-4,,,,,,,,Oddsmakers laid wayyy to many points on them -11,,,,,,,,Thats OK let the play build as at 0-3 it was not a good play and it was proven to be correct,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Mid Majors revealed some disconcerting stats:

0-3 64-44
0-4 17-27
0-5 12-15
0-6 9-6
streaks of 6,7,7,7,8,8,9,9

3-0 47-52
4-0 35-17
5-0 9-8
streaks of 6,7,7,7,8,8,9,9

Total of major and mid major
0-3 113-85
0-4 37-38
0-5 28-20
0-6 11-9

3-0 104-92
4-0 59-33
5-0 21-12

There are more longer streaks among the mid majors which make the doubling up very costly.

When I get some time tomorrow afternoon I'll finish the last 9 conferences.

5's are 49-32.  Maybe stick to major conferences as they had only 9 streaks longer than 5, and the mids had 23.

Morn Bandos,,,,,,,,,,After last week and all the games,yesterday and this week looks weak overall,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I see where penn St was an ATS winner last night and i missed them as i show them although with a push in between loses as they actually had 3 loses although with a pust in between,Regarding pushes i normally eliminate them as just that and keep the streak going in either direction regardless of ties,i don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

i went thru the games played yesterday an correct me but i show the plays final at

0-2 teams went1-1 fairfield and St Joes

0-3 teams went 1-1 Penn St and BG

2-0 teams went 1-0 St Marys

I don't know how the hell you can do 100 teams on a saturday and get it right,,,,,,,,,,

I counted pushes as ending a streak for my data, as it seems to indicate that the line was adjusted and correctly, no?

In fact, I looked at the longer losing/winning streaks ( 7 or more) and sometime after three there always seemed to be a w or loss by under 2pts, or an overtime game.

San Fran at 0-4,,,,,tough playing them,,,but there 0-4

N Mex St at 0-4,,another toughie but there 0-4

V Tech at 0-4 vs 0-3 Iowa,,,,Edge to VT at 0-4

Colorado St at 4-0 DTNC

DTNC -due to not cover

i am going to also chart the 2-0 and 0-2's as it is a slow day for me

Think next georgia game that is lined will be tomorrow vs st louis.

I did play V Tech today at -2, both as a streak bet (major conference) and capping (Vtech is a middle ACC team, Iowa is the bottom and only 7 deep) tho Vtech is on the verge of reverse 

I have already lost on San Fran so I have to play them again.  Hoping to get 13 but might have to just buy it there. 

My mid major numbers say 0-3 are good bets as Nmex is today.

Fading 4-0 Co ST with NO Colorado looks tempting given the mid major 4-0 numbers but this might be a reverse play.

I have looked at every lined game for every team last year

Note on methodology
1. Push was considered a streak breaker
2. All streak to end a season were NOT counted.

If History is our guide, here is how we should play it.

Start fading WIN streaks at 4  (90-67, 57% +16U)
Of those 67, 42 lost the next time out (42-25, 63%, +14.5)

Start betting on teams during a losing streak at 5 games (49-31, 61% +15u)

Overall, if you started at 5, you would have gone 91-56, 62%, +30u

Half of the 56 streaks longer than 5 ended at 6
12 ended at 7
11 at 8
5 an 9

Play out the progressive betting strategy starting at the streak of 5

Total of 147 streaks of 5 or more.  if your unit was $20 and you doubled up after every loss, you would have made $2740.

However, you would have need to have a bankroll capable of approx $350 bet once the streak hit nine.  $700 once it hit 10 (2 did but they both ended seasons so they didn't go into the calculations)

As I have mentioned before, I have been playing with the prgoressive thing and it is a bit scary as you get down even though you are winning a majority of the bets.  I realized right away that: YOU CAN"T START A NEW STREAK AFTER FEBUARY 1.
