We did extremely well over 08/09 year,,but we need to await more games to get to a level where we start fading win streaks and play losing streaks,,,along with examing the betting percentages,,,,,
Well what have we learned over the past week
One it was too early to start any wagering,,as this is still in its trial mode to find the correct # to start any real money investments and it may be a few weeks before we really know what system tells us,
Last week i started wirh # 3 as the minimum # a team had to have either + or - for a possible play
Also before i start all ATS rankings are from COVERS stats and that will be the GOSPEL for entire year, this brings all information right here at covers,Other sites may have different #'s so for this posting all will be here as the legitimate Backup
All ATS rankings will be compiled each sunday for following week
First i want to thank BANDOS for his assistance last week in helping in many ways ,,Keeping records, watching betting trends, etc and without his help i could not do as good a job,,,,, and i am hopeful he will be here all year ![]()
What was learned from our first week
That too many teams went 3-0 or 0-3 for # 3 to be the correct play so i am raising it to #4 and am hopeful that will reduce the # of plays a day,,,, and if that gets out of hand,,,, i will raise it to #5
Understand the whole object is that no team can cover or not cover every game,,so where is the breaking point,,i hope to know that in the following weeks,
Last week SYRACUSE was the first to go to 5-0 before not covering and now stands at 5-1 ATS
New Mexico now stands at the top plateau at 6-0 and a ranking of #1
Elon stands at the botton at 0-5 at a ranking of 263
How far either of these two teams go without reversing its trends is what this is all about,,When will the oddsmakers add or deleate the piont spread necessary for a reversal is the question,Nothing lasts for ever so if i were a betting guy which i am i'd watch these two and others soon to arrive,
Betting trends are also important as maybe vegas doesn't need to help either team as maybe JP will do it themselves thus we have REVERSALS ( thats Bandos job) just trying to watch all 263 teams is a job and if don't think so try it
So where are we at week #2,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
All teams with a 4-0 or 0-4 are definitely on the watch as possible plays,,any thing below is just to be watched and anything above that is a DEFINITE Play for this week, but very light We have a long season ahead and no one is going anywhere
Now for the teams that need watching after the two mentioned above,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
St Bonny is at 5-0
Sac St is at 5-0
These are the only two that have gotten to #5,,there are many at 4-0 and 0-4,,and when they are playing i will post them in this thread on that day
There is nothing that fits today Monday 11/30/09
Bowling Green is the closest today at 0-3 and ranked # 262,,,,
Note,,,,,,,,,,, What we have found is the 0-3,0-4 have a much higher Win percentage than the 3-0 and 4-0 so far,Seems oddsmakers are willing to assist the losers more easily,
Bandos will post the records from last week of all we charted FYI,,but use it as strictly informational and hopefully after another week we will be the much wiser
I will keep this thread alive for one week and then we will post a new one,,next monday,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,![]()
