NC State + 1.5

Akron + 1.5

Ill Chicago +15

Other games of interest are the following.

Loyola Chi +4.5

Wisc GB +6

Penn State +7

Wyoming +12

Purdue -9.5

How is Akron a play with only a .6 difference between Shirley's spread and the books? (on line A) and 1.3 (on line B)

Akron is a play because they are getting 1.5 points and the recent form model has them as a 2.7 point favorite. The "delta" is 4.20 points (1.5 + 2.7) for this game, thus a suggested play since it is over 4.0.

I barely  watch any of the the games anymore. I guess they gave up 2 early TD's. That's pretty bad I would say.

Seriously, I wouldn't worry if the top 3 go 0-3 tonight, it's really no big deal. It's simply 3 results of many thousands over the course of a lifetime. Right now we're watching the end of a John Wayne Movie.

I'll probably watch NCIS then maybe another movie after that. During commercials  I'll take a peek at some of the scores, but no single game or no single wager EVER bothers me anymore, no matter how large. There's always tomorrow.

i have shirley line sdst-18.00 and the book line is -12
BOOK-Shirley=+6.00
what does the +6 represent?

I'm confused...where in the world did you see Shirley's line as SD ST -18????
I saw Shirley's line as SD St-12 and an updated line of SD St -8.1....

With the actual line at -12, it would be a NO PLAY if you went off of her first line....and would be a 3.9 pt edge to Wyoming if you went off of the recent.

Best bets are on dogs where there is a 4 point or larger difference in the dog's favor.....

Example:

Shirley's Line:Team A -8......actual line is Team A -12....Play Team B......you are getting a 4 point value with the dog.
