This game is being played at the garden tomorrow...The Johnies play a decent amount of home games at the garden throughout the year and I thin kthat they will have a small homecourt advantage in this one...Couple that with the fact that UCONN has been on an emotional rollercoaster after winning three straight to play themselves inthe tourney to losing 3 straight to play themselves right out....they would have to win this tourney or atleast get to the championship  game to get in and i just dont think this team has enough talent for thatand they really do not play good basketball away from home.....just try ing to give my two cent here purdue...love to check your thread daily and always respect your insight.......i can see ALOTTT of money coming in on uconn tomorrow and if this line doesnt move much I think I might have to grab a small play on the johnies....The bookmakeers are telling me that they think the johnies have a chance as an outright winner in this one......bol to you bud

I didn't notice you were leaning DePaul. I love it bro. I just don't have the balls to take it. I think Depaul 1half has more value. Just like the game last week. Depaul up by 6 at half and S Florida comes back and wins by 3-5.  Just my opinion. I never play sides but I like this one.I hope Uconn can hold it together for a full game for once. BOL Buddy. I also meant to say in my post that I think that the emotional rollercoaster that this uconnn team has been on has really worn on these kids and will be  a big factor tomorrow....I can see them coming out flat and tired(emotionally)..and they already dont shoot the ball well.....i have been backing this team bc of their size in the last few games and they just arent getting after it and are getting outplayed...they def have the size but they just havent been hitting any shots..again bol

Soooo.....

I don't know what you can get Wisky to win the Big Ten tourney at, but +450 is the best I can find.  Aren't they the most valuable bet in the conference?  They have to be.  I'm gonna hit it.  MSU doesn't care about this thing, never have, never will.  OSU doesn't have enough depth to play 3 days in a row. And Purdue, well, your Boilers are missing a piece, you know how good I thought your Boilers would do with Hummel, but we'll never find out.  Give me your thoughts when you get a chance.

gabs - i think the "homecourt advantage" for st. john's is overrated in this situation.  If you have ever seen the big east tourney, you would know that UCONN has a very STRONG presence fan wise at the garden for this tournament.  Lots of UCONN fans in that area and its not far at all from UCONN to begin with. 

I dont think Calhoun will fold, he will have his guys ready to play.  A lot of these players know the feeling after their last big east tourney game (the 6OT thriller last season) and i think the talent level will be too much over 40 mins. of play.

yea, thats really good value.  They play illinois their first game and should handle them easily again like they did sunday.  When OSU and Wisky play in the semis, i think the winner of that game wins the tourney.  You know the big ten, and i think wisky is the right side and i would make a play on that future bet but that would mean to root against Purdue when they DO play in the finals on sunday

i'd take +450 though

Purdue in the finals?  No, it's a Wisky win v.s an unmotivated MSU team.  Either way, I see the Big Ten making some serious noise in the Big Dance, again!!

Purdue will beat MSU in the semis

and i hope so, If purdue can get a good matchup in the 2nd round i think they should still be able to make the sweet 16

Call me crazy but I'm not betting against Illinois in the 1st round of this tournament.  They always play well in this thing and will be playing with desperation.  I will be playing them ML against Wisc

I just bet Wisky (+450) to win it.  I'm actually more worried about Illinois than I am OSU.  That is a desperate Illinois team, but it was also a desperate Illinois team on Sunday, should be interesting!!!

wish you lots of   luck  bud ,                call me crazy    cant seem to lay my hard earned dollars  on a uconn team  that  at any time knowing ahead of time calhoun will pull all his starters  early in this one  if they get down.      as far as south flor      just thinking  depaul packs this game in and goes home early   looking forward  to this match up !             im sure you will be right and im wrong  not much of a capper here.         just living in the tri state area  and a st john alum , from we back in 87  i have to be rooting for the  redmen.    will be  at the worlds famous arena today  rooting them on .                make lots of  today!!!!!  pal
