Rutgers is falling apart, we need a rally!

Anyone here care to research an angle that I've noticed? I have only been able to research it back to last year, so any additional input would be appreciated. Here it is -
In Conference Tournament games where both teams only played each other ONE TIME during the regular conference schedule, take the team who LOST outright in their one previous game. Today it would have given you these teams :
DEPAUL - L
PROVIDENCE - W
RUTGERS - W
MASSACHUSETTS - W
ST. JOHN'S - W
ST. JOE'S - W
GEORGE WASHINGTON - W
What I need help with is how this angle works based on the following aspects; namely
A - Did they lose at Home or Away in their previous game ?
B - Does their "margin of Loss" matter, such as double digits ?
C - How do they do in the tournament game as a Fave or Dog ?
I have this year's and last year's results, but I would like to back-check it a few more years. Teams that fall into this category tomorrow :
GEORGETOWN
TEXAS TECH
E. CAROLINA
ST. JOHN'S
RICE
NOTRE DAME
CINCINNATI
IOWA STATE
CENTRAL FLORIDA
Anyone with interest in this please send me a message or start a thread. Thx in advance.

It's not all logic or sensible, alot of times it's just a gut feeling, too much value in a name sometimes, too little in another. Everyone will be all over G-TOWN tomorrow, understandable. But a team who has not accomplished great things historically will almost always provide some value against a team who has tradition. USF has players and as I mentioned before Dominque Jones is a genuine rising star, gotta' little Dwyane Wade flavor, seriously.+7 points is what I'm seeing and I'm on that. The bigs can play for USF as well. Competitive game, really would not be surprised to see an up and coming, experienced USF team playing Syracuse on Thursday.
Good Luck to all!
3-1 today, all Big East, had Cincy for the L...
