going to be few and far between unless i happen to do ok
1st off Tennessee st +10.5 vs Murray st, early in year you really need a lot of time to cap, and with football in full swing st its going to be hard, but today i like this tenn st team, they were picked to win the OVC conf this year , and they have a good number of starters back and about 62% of their procuction, they did lose ssome good players but i think they have enough back to be really competitive .....D Harris was the main pt guard last year leader in assist and he is back, Murray st is also picked close to the top of their conf, but they do have some younger players starting i am just thinking Tennessee st has more back and should keep this close ..just do not have time right now like years past but i will make it
Tenn st +10.5

this UAB vs Mcneese st game has me wondering, i mean Mcneese st has won their conf 3 years in a row and are expected to do it again, and UAB has just 2 players back from last year, they do got their main ball handler back Eric Gainesand one of their elite rebounders in Yaxel Lendanborg , i mean 1st off the line is just 3.5 , UAB has won at least 20 games the last 6 seasons, and with Mcneese returning 4 starters from last year i am wondering why this line is low, i have not been able to do pre season scouting, seeing who went where from where, but i know UAB is really athletic, they were a good team last year, and Mcneese st has been very good also for sure an edge to Mcneese here but this line ???
got some really good games going today between the MAC and the SunBelt conf ohio vs S alabama U Mass at Troy, BG at Ga st, Toledo at Ar st, Akron at ULL, Buffalo at Marshall, Ball st vs Ga southern, W Mich vs ODU, Miami oh vs James Madison, Kent st at La tech , C Mich at La Monroe, so many of these games have a line of -1.5 most of the MAC teams are favored on the road even, Miami oh -1.5 ball st -1.5 U Mass +2.5, W Mich -1.5, Buffalo +1.5, Kent st -4.5, C Mich -2.5, Ohio -1.5, Akron -5.5, Toledo +3.5 I mean thats pretty even matchups these 2 conf's you have no one over a 5.5 pt fav so many under 3 pts
do favor BG +4 we know what Miami ohio did last year, Akron and Kent st are always strong and Toledo going to be interesting i cant wait till i can give it all my attention
i think i am going to try a couple more today since its just the NFL game tonight

all the things i use for my basketball handicapping are better after a couple of games have been played , for now you either vreate a syste or you just look and see who has how many starters back what transfers they got, how are they suppose to do this year, like coaches pre season poll for each conf and shit like that
some teams i always like are st thomas, very good team usually very strong at home, but tonight they are on the road at Presbyterian who are a decent home team.... these are one of those teams where they will lose their better players to bigger schools, always you will hear these guys on BIG schools who came from smaller ones , St thomas lost their top 3 scorers this year to other teams , these smaller teams just do not have the budget others do yet they seem st always continue being good , meanwhile Presbyterian has all 11 players coming back this year, that is very rare , presbyterian lost a lot of closer games last year, i mean many by 5 or fewer points , thye lost at High point by 3 84-81, then lost to HP 79-73, they lost to winthrop by 4 and by 2 they were a team i rode on late in the year and they were a good cover, i always have liked St thomas, but they are on the road at Presbyterian who has everyone back this year, they only took 1 kid from the portal a player from Lincoln memorial university...lol yes when your small you get from smaller schools. but this kid was on the all freshman team there , he shot 46% and 35% from 3 over 2 years and avged 10 pts a game last year ......makes this an interesting game if played, st thomas has 2 starters back and did pickup 3 in the portal also st thomas lost Kendell Blue to Nebraska but he is trying to go back to st thomas and is waiting to see if he is allowed which would really help st thomas
should be a good game i remember how Presbyterian was covering for me last year, and anytime you have everyone back it helps just because you are use to playing with each other i could see going either way but a home dog who has everyone back looks tempting
