My Terps in the Littlejohn called Clemson

this guy makes more bad decisions than good.  i've been listening to people in this area tell me for 2.5 years how great he is.  if he was so great, he wouldn't be playing ball on route one right now. i've watched this guy in person several times.  is he a scrub, no. but his game is to cluttered. to many times i've watched this guy and said wtf was he thinking. bad passes, missed lay ups, missed shots.

acc is average at best this year. 

He had a bad game last night that's true. I think it began with the 2 fouls early that took him out of the game, mentally and literally. None of our top 4 had good games at all and we were still in the game until the last 2 minutes. The only guy that had a really good game was Jordan. I think the comparison to Brett Favre a week or so ago fits Vasquez well. He will make some great plays and then will make a play where he looks very bad. The Terps do not suck and yes the ACC is down this year as we have no clear top 10 team. But it's still as good as the Pac 10 and SEC this year. All the SEC really has is Kentucky, as I think Tennesee isn't going to do much by the end of the year.

i agree w/ this.  no problems w/ anything you wrote.  Tennessee is a fraud too. a well organized rec offense they run. no pure scorers. top two conferences by far this year are big 12 and big east. wouldn't be surprised if all final four teams were from these two conference. well, sec w/ kentucky.

back to md., i would be very nervous laying anything on this team due to vas. never know what he's going to do.  i've tried to like him, now...i just call them like i see them. i have no favorites in college basketball. just enjoy the games. 

MD played the worse game for them in over 6 weeks,since the W&M loss,which ACC called also for those that have made a few dollars on his MD picks.My point is with almost 30 TOs,they took the lead with 4 mins left,I did not see the last 3 mins as I had to leave for work,but since they had 50 when I left and 53 when it was over,I assume they just had nothing left after comming back from 11 down.

They need to work on the press and they will be fine,Clemson had a do or die game and played great,cant take anything away from them.But Im sure ILL bet on MD again this year. 

I never said Vazquez was great.  I said he had a bad game and MD would probably bounce back because they are one of the top teams in the ACC (half game behind duke).  They have done so well because the play well as a team.  Vazquez hasn't been a one man show for the Terps.  They have, pretty good to really good, talent at all positions. They were also a good team to bet on because they have won 6 straight ATS and 5 of 6 SU.  +5 would have hit if the refs didn't call that bull shit call on vazquez.

saying the terps are not very good. they play hard every night. just not that much talent. vas doesn't impress me. makes to many freshman mistakes to be a senior.

that being said, they can be competitive in the ACC. its a down year. i will go on record to say maybe one team from the acc gets out of the first weekend. of course it depends on draws, etc...

I'm not hyping up vazquez....I don't understand why you keep pointing him out.  When did i ever say anything about vazquez?  I'm glad he stayed in school last year because i knew he didn't have a future in the nba. 

I think MD has a great TEAM.  they are not reliant on one player, like you saw, vazquez made alot of poor decisions. but their team pulled it together and they won.  Jordan WIlliams has to be the front runner for freshman of the year..they have alot of good role players and good shooters who play good defense. 

I'm reluctant to say the acc is having that much of a down year where you start to compare them to pac 10 or sec...haha..that seems far fetched, there is no powerhouse in the acc right now just because of how competive the teams are playing....duke and another team will bust out start dominating conference...name another team OTHER THAN MD that has blown out three straight ACC teams?   

Here is the stat that means the most Maryland 71 Florida State 67. I don't give a crap who did what. We played an ugly ass game at Clemson and had a chance to win it. I wouldn't have cared how Vasquez looked as long as we won. Do you think Kitchen would trade his really good night for a win? I say yes.

fyi, my coach always told me an assist is erased by a to.  so those 7 assist or negated for the most part.  nevertheless, gl to all this year.
