My Terps in the Littlejohn called Clemson

Yeah, I think with stitt out the Terps will have less of a challenge containing Booker.  We shut down Booker, we win this easily.  Last year the Terps would more than likely loss this type of game going on the road after a couple of wins at home...but like you said ACC, last year our center was David Neal while Mosley and Milborne hadn't matured yet to the level of play they are contributing this year. This years team seems like they can keep that tempo going throughout February and into March.

Rebounding will be far closer than evidently you think.  And Booker is not that much better than Collins.  Who is going to get him in foul trouble?  Not sure I can name the specific player for you but I didn't know it took a ton of skill to give someone a head fake and draw a foul  

Booker and Collins don't have stats that are that far off.  But good luck.  It wouldn't be the first time you had a differing opinion than me that was expensive for you.

One more thing GWarner....I went back and looked and as I suspected, I NEVER said Collins was better than Booker.  I said they were "similar type players."

I'm just not buying that Maryland will struggle with Clemson's press.   Like most teams, Clemson runs the press off of made baskets.  Last year, the tigers scored 93 points and the terps only turned it over 14 times at Littlejohn - that's damn good.  Maryland lost the game last year because Clemson was on blast from three and because Maryland blew a crapload of easy layups AFTER breaking the press with relative ease.  They also played some really bad D in the halfcourt. 

The same three guys that handled the Clemson pressure last year are still suiting up for the terps - and they are generally taking care of the ball pretty well this year.  If they D up they'll cover the number. . .

And i didn't say the trap would shut down or kill Maryland, I said that it would be a killer because it would result in turnovers and tired legs on the long shots.

You're forgetting Jerai Grant on the interior making any of the weak UMD "bigs" look like children, and at the #1 team in the ACC's best win being over FSU.

CLEMSON  COVERS BABY

The end result was no surprise (and I am a Maryland fan!).  This team is far from legit.  Remember, it was only a month ago they lost to Bill & Mary! 

No quality wins.  Will once again sneak into the tournament and be quickly ousted.  Vasquez is a joke.  Same ol' shit.  Quite frankly, nothing has changed in Turtle Land.  Although Jordan Williams looks promising.    

The Terps of old showed up.  Gary did not have them ready...best player on the floor is a freshman.

how did i miss this. vasquez is a bum. why he gets so much press, i have no idea.  makes a lot of bad decisions. plays like he's at a rec league game. NEVER bet this MD squad.

they lost to william and mary at home. nuff said.

faded the terps when my guy dropped it to 3.5. zebras let clemson get away with murder in the first half, creating a cluster-fuck of a game. then they whistle everything in the second half to even it out. however, the damage was done. i've seen it toooo many times with clemson.

Coming into today MD covered 6 straight ATS mostly against ACC teams.  Vazquez had a bad night.  Can't win them all.  They will bounce back, MD looks like one of the better teams in the ACC.  I am suprised they are not ranked.  I don't normally blame officials but that call on Vazquez was a terrible call and ruined what was a legit shot for MD to come back and win.
