Well I’m now 7-1 posting on Covers after trusting K St last week but I really like tonight’s game and although I didn’t post a pick last night as I was at Happy Hour for 5 hours I did have Boise St large !!! In tonight’s game I’m playing Devils Advocate a bit as the line has moved the wrong way since opening. That said Iowa St is a much better team than the Hawkeyes. With 3 good returning starters averaging over 16pts each and added freshman Toure who’s an averaged over 16pts as well his last 4 games. Iowa St crushed Purdue last game on the road also beat and No. 22 Saint John’s, as well as blowout victories over Creighton, Syracuse, and Mississippi State. Iowa’s resume is less impressive, with no Quad 2 games and an ugly 71-52 loss to Michigan State in its lone Quad 1 contest. Iowa has 1 legit scorer in Bennett Stirtz who’s good for 18 a game, but no other players on this rebuilt roster averages even 10 points. The norm is after a huge win and an interstate rival game to take the underdog, which is where the point line moved, but in this case, I don’t think Iowa has a chance to keep up with Iowa State And being it’s an interstate rival The cyclones will run it up in the second half. As always there’s no guarantees so play it as you will it’s called gambling for a reason. I just give out pics once in a while as I normally do very very well in college basketball normally around 73% by the end of the year I don’t play a lot of games as you can see. I’ve only played eight to date this year, but I don’t like to hear, whining and crying if a pick doesn’t come in so God forbid Iowa wins by five no need to send me a message. If that’s the case just do your own handicapping and make your own pics. The ultimate goal is for everybody to win money me included and I take advice and people’s views as much as the next guy. ??
