$$$$ play North Carolina -9
These teams know each other well but in both mathchups the Tar Heels mostly dominated. The first matchup in January in Notre dame Carolina jumped out to a 15 point lead but gave up the lead and ultimately lost the game behind a terrible
Second half in which they gave up easy baskets and got killed on the boards. In the acc tournament Carolina just beat them down with championship defense holding the Irish to 47 points. This Carolina team has bought in to the next level defense ever since the Duke game and jr has showed in several dominating victorys especially Friday night vs a very good Indiana team. I have not been impressed with anything the Irish have shown in the tournament they have been down in every game and were only able to pull it out because their opponents have given the game away late (Michigan sf Austin and Wisconsin) the Tar Heels are a completely different animal and will not let up when they get up big. carolina wins by at least 12 here.

I AGREE!!!
I picked UNC to win the crown cause they play the ENTIRE court!
There are no weaknesses in this team and they have a solid bench

I think NC and the Cuse/Vir over are really good looking plays...best of luck

Disagree on the over, cause both teams are defensively minded and you can't transition either team. They are well coached and rarely get beat with a cherry pick or nobody back. They are both tactical on offense and take their time looking for the right move to strike. I think the only way this goes over is OT

So far in the tournament Virginia has averaged 81 points. If you like under 123 GL

One thing that could save ND is the three ball!! Haven't seen it yet in this tourney but it certainly can happen. They have been really tentative on offense, so it's hard to imagine but possible!

Lost the 1st over as Syracuse didn't take shot to end the half,.
Foolishly played the over 66 in the 2 nd .

 UNC VS ND LUCKY IRISH    UNC -9.5

In taking a look at prior game between UNC and ND several things stand out to me.  UNC outrebounded ND 46-26 in a blowout 78-47 win.  I know that was then this is now but it was an ACC tournament game.  Everyone and their dog had Kansas vs UNC in Final.  Kansas loss yesterday will give UNC a good wakeup call.This is very important to consider since UNC blew ND out earlier in season.  They have the confidence and mental edge against ND and will not overlook ND team trying to knock them out and watch alongside Kansas.  This is a lot of points to give up for me in tourny game. I have several teasers in case ND comes back for a backdoor cover in desperation time.  In prior meeting UNC led 41-22 at halftime and outscored ND 37-25 in 2nd half.  UNC is hitting on all cylinders right now playing arguably their best basketball of the season.  I look for UNC to get out to early lead and not look back.  UNC defense held ND to just 30% shooting 15-50 from field and just 26% 5 of 19 from beyond the arc. ND shot 12-17 from FT line for 70.6%. UNC shot 43,5% on 30-69 from field and  6-15 beyond the arc.  UNC shot only 63.2% from FT line. Beacham and Coulsen only 2 players in double figures for ND.  UNC had 5 players in double digits.  Both teams go about 7.5 to 8 deep.  UNC took 69 shots compared to 50 for ND.  UNC only got 6 3 pointers in the game shot 15 while ND hoisted 19 only making 5.  UNC will get its points going to the basket while ND knows the only chance they have is getting hot from 3 point land.    Anything can happen in this tourny and if ND gets hot from beyond the arc they might hang around for a while.  In the end UNC seems destined.  ND getting to the final 4 is a stretch.  Big concern is all the public money coming in on UNC. RIght now it looks like 3 of 4 dogs are going to cover in elite 8 round.  Odds say UNC will win the game.  Question to be answered is will it be by enough.  My money says they will

Mini bailout with the 2nd over and the game over  total.
Still can't believe that the cuse took a shot clock violation at the end of the first derailing any chance for me to cover the 1st half over . Missed it by 1 point.

Still doesn't  rival my  loss in the wagner- byu total when I all I needed was 10 points  in the last 4+minutes. Only scored 5 points.

As they say thats college basketball. Glad I did better with the 4 legged animals at gulstream yesterday.n

Missed that horse playing thread from CBS .

This is not to pick   got Syr +9.5 ND +10 only  to comment on a great season and to thank this tread I only bet collage basketball and football with some WNBA  sorry that other sports cover this trend wish they had soccer and others but they post on NCAA BASKETBALL thank you for a great seasons up $4000

Yesterday villa. Today under Irvine game cashed for me. Too bad so sad, in out of $$$$ ball so no +2 for me.
