Betting patterns

So when I go up to the window and make a $25 bet, they look me over and mark me and my bet down as a public wager, and when the retard Floyd Mayweather makes his $10,000 bet it goes in the "Sharp" catgory, and then they call up covers and give them that completely subjective info?

Lol...Does the computer decide who the "public" and who's the "Sharp" using face recognition software or something?  And don't tell me the bigger bet is the smarter bet-

"Public" and "Sharp" are irellevant/nonsense terms...Terms only used by people that like to think of themselves as "Sharps"

I use an app called Sports Insights. It doesn't have sub categories of public and sharp money. It just shows what %be of wagers are going on what team and what the line is at that moment. I always look at what the lines open at the night before and if I notice a heavy drop on the favorite even though they're taking most of the wagers, that flags that game for me. Then I combine that, with who the obvious pick should be (perception), and match that up to record and if it fits all 3 categories, it has a higher percentage it hit. Even though Duquense opened at -4 taking 70% wagers (according to the app) why would it drop down 2 points? I doubt it was (sharp money) being bet on Richmond (record 6-13) going into the game playing Duq, a team playing well and at home (record 14 - 6 going into that game) Most bettors were probably thinking oh hell ya Duq can cover that. I don't even think or care about sharp money. I don't get this far into it, I'm just an action junkie and would like to crack the code, lol. Any angles help. I really believe there is ton's of psychology that goes behind what the line is set at. They set it in a way where they feel like they have a good idea where most of the wagers will go, but yet they already know which side will cover/win most of the time.

Take off the tin foil hat...They couldn't possibly pull off a conspiracy of the magnitude that you are talking about...They are the very last people to fix a game-  Why would they? They have a license to print money now...They get a cut of everything bet and all they gotta do is hold the money for a few hours..

Its as old as dirt- Youre playing the tote board..I stopped doing that in the late 70's... It assumes that people know more than you do, which is rarely the case my friend...Good luck though
