Week 1's uncertainty has come and gone with a slightly more-focused picture for Week 2 NFL odds. Last weekend brought a serious mixed bag for our staff's NFL picks and parlays. The Chiefs, Bills and Ravens were popular picks that held, while the Eagles' and Colts' respective meltdowns torched a few tickets.

No time for sorrow or celebration, the gridiron grind is just beginning. We're back at it with Week 2 - here's a quick recap of this year's format:

Each week, the members of the Covers editorial staff will provide their best parlay and NFL teaser bets of the week. In previous years, these picks were restricted to just totals, spreads and moneylines but this year there's a new rule:

There are no rules.

That's right, everything is in play. Player props, derivatives: if you can find a place to bet it, it's fair game.

Our illustrious team of football nerds have scoured the NFL matchups and present their best teasers, parlays and overall Week 2 NFL picks.

Teaser Picks Week 2

Andrew Caley, Senior Editor (@Covers_Caley) ***Defending Champion***

The Eagles screwed us with an epic choke job in Week 1, but you don't become the Champ without knowing how to bounce back. So, I'm back on board with Minshew Mania. There's no way Lamar Jackson loses to Bill O'Brien. And the Falcons could beat the Cowboys outright this week.

PICK: 6-point teaser (Jacksonville +15.5, Baltimore -1, Atlanta +10.5) +160
Season: -1.0 units

Jason Logan, Senior Industry Analyst (@CoversJLo)

I can’t place a teaser bet without getting “Touch Me, Tease Me” by Case and Foxy Brown stuck in my head. That’s an underrated 90’s R&B banger. Anyways, I'm walking the banged-up 49ers from -7 to -1 visiting the Jets, pushing Las Vegas to +11.5 – destroying key numbers 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5 and 10 along the way – and puffing the Broncos-Steelers total up to 46.5 points and taking the Under.

PICK: 6-point teaser (San Francisco -1, Las Vegas +11.5, Denver-Pittsburgh Under 46.5) +160
Season: -1.0 units

Rob Hansen, Content Coordinator (@Mookie_45)

The Bears' biggest weapon, Allen Robinson, requested a trade.
The truth is, there's little chance a deal gets made.
This Sunday he'll soar,
And will definitely score.
Those who back Chicago to beat the Giants will get paid.

PICK: 6-point teaser (Chicago +0.5, Arizona -1, Pittsburgh -1.5) +160
Season: -1.0 units

Rohit Ponnaiya, Digital Content Producer (@Covers_Ro)

The Lions offense has life under Matt Stafford but their defense made Mitchell Trubisky look like Aaron Rodgers and now they take on the actual Aaron Rodgers. The Ravens had the biggest win in Week 1 and should have few problems against the Texans, who suffered the biggest loss of the week. And the defending SB champs will roll against a mediocre Chargers squad they've owned in the head-to-head.

PICK: 6-point teaser (Detroit vs Green Bay Over 42, Baltimore -1, Kansas City -2.5) +160
Season: +1.6 units

AJ Salah, Publishing Editor (@Salas42_)

Balancing the results-oriented impulse-picks. The Packers offense looks way too good for Detroit's wack pass-D to handle, the Ravens get a boost on a tame line vs the Texans, who can't possibly hope to out-score them, and Washington's somewhat-flukey Week 1 win will be difficult to replicate vs. the Kyler Murray Express.

PICK: 6-point teaser (Green Bay pick, Baltimore-1, Arizona -1) +160
Season: +1.65 units

Parlay Picks Week 1

Jameson Mossman, Social Media Coordinator (@Covers_JaMo)

Last week did not go as planned (way to go Eagles ????), but never fear Week 2 is my bounce back week!

My picks this week revolve around 3 QB’s Lamar Jackson, Aaron Rodgers, and Tom Brady. Tom-pa Bay did not get off to a great start vs a good Saints team and while I believe they will get on track, they won’t be on track enough to cover 15.5 points vs Carolina. Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson and Aaron Rodgers balled out last week and I don’t see them slowing down versus Houston and Detroit.

PICK: Carolina +15.5, Green Bay PK, Baltimore -1 (3 team, 6-point teaser) +160
Season: -1.0 units

Brandon DuBreuil, Content Manager (@CoversBD)

Indianapolis killed me last week but going back to the well with a moneyline parlay with five teams that should get out of Week 2 with W’s.

PICK: Parlay (Tampa Bay ML -400, Pittsburgh ML -340, Tennessee ML -400, San Francisco ML -315, Kansas City ML -425) +229
Season: -1.0 units

Jared Hochman, Publishing Editor (@JLHoch)

Davante Adams will have a field day against the Lions, while Kyler Murray is going to be scrambling a lot against that Washington D-Line.

For my third pick, I see people are starting to pile on the Brady-is-washed-up train after Tampa's Week 1 loss. You know what that means? A classic Brady “Eff you” game is in order, so I expect the Buccos to come out strong versus Carolina at home.

PICK: 3-prop parlay (Davante Adams Over 87.5 receiving yards, Kyler Murray Over 30.5 rushing yards, Tampa Bay 1Q -3) +538
Season: -1.0 units

Patrick Everson, Senior Writer (@Covers_Vegas)

Steelers -7 vs Broncos. Denver coach Vic Fangio can't manage the clock, and Broncos are playing early game in Eastern Time Zone, after scoring just 14 points in home loss to Titans. I'm just saying no to my favorite team. Eagles -1 vs Rams. All Philly has to do is win, and it's at worst a push. Cowboys -4.5 vs. Falcons, on expectation that Dallas shows much better in Week 2.

PICK: 3-team parlay (Pittsburgh -7, Philadelphia -1, Dallas -4.5) +596
Season: -1.0 units

Josh Inglis, NFL Writer (@inglis_josh4)

Keeping it simple this week after a 2-for-3 showing in Week 1 (-1u) and am sticking with what I'm best at: player props. Here are my top-three player props for Week 2. Game on.

PICK: 3-prop parlay (Raheem Mostert Over 1.5 receptions, Corey Davis Over 44.5 receiving yards, Ryan Fitzpatrick Over 15.5 rushing yards) +520
Season: -1.0 units

Standings

1st: AJ Salah: +1.65 units

2nd: Rohit Ponnaiya: +1.60 units

Everyone else: -1.0 units. And remember — if you're not first...you're last.
