The $24.99 promotion is the only first-purchase bonus on offer, but it’s a good one. That said, it would be nice to see some boosted offers at lower prices too, for players who don’t want to spend that much right away.

So far, LoneStar accepts purchases via either Apple Pay, Skrill, debit, or credit cards. When we purchased Gold Coins for our LoneStar review, the bank card option was initially unavailable on desktop; it did appear on mobile. Weird, but believe us, it happened.

It’s nice to have the option of both an e-wallet and traditional card payments. Gold Coin packages start from $2.99, which is close to the standard set by McLuck and Hello Millions at $1.99.

You can redeem your winning SC for prizes at LoneStar Casino. You’ll need to win 100 SC to request a cash prize via Skrill or bank transfer, or just 45 SC to request a gift card. Gift cards typically get sent the same day you request them.

It’s still pretty early days for the casino, but LoneStar already shines in a few important areas, including social media engagement, slot variety and the welcome package.

Games

LoneStar Casino has a total of 441 games on the menu, almost all of them slots. While the variety of slots is excellent, the menu is thinner on the ground after that. You’ll find a handful of table games and instant wins, but no live games, blackjack or roulette, and no exclusives.

  Software providers

We were pleasantly surprised with the number of software providers found during our LoneStar review, with 16 different designers used in total. It means the menu of slots feels genuinely diverse and innovative, with lots of different themes, game mechanics and animation styles to discover. We liked seeing big names like Pragmatic Play and Evoplay, but also smaller studios like Octopus Global.

  Slots 

Slots are the main event at LoneStar, with more than 430 games on the menu in total. It’s a fun, well-balanced selection that spans popular games and franchises we’ve seen at other casinos, plus new releases from less popular providers.

  Casino and table games 

LoneStar has a table game section in the menu, but it’s currently quite sparse, with only three poker games available. We’d like to think they will add more games here as the casino grows, including roulette and blackjack. We also found three instant win games, plus three plinko games scattered across the menu.

It’s a decent start, but there is room for improvement. Here is a selection of table games on offer:

  Live casino

There are no live dealer casino games at LoneStar Casino. Interestingly, we noticed a blank category in the gaming menu that gets a “page not found” response when you click it, which could be a placeholder for a live section down the line. We’ll keep our eyes peeled.

  Sportsbook

Mobile experience

There is no LoneStar Casino mobile app, but the site is optimized for playing using your phone’s browser. In fact, we preferred using the mobile site over the desktop. Scrolling through the different gaming categories is a little slow and clunky on the laptop, but it’s much easier to swipe through them on your phone.

The LoneStar mobile site retains the overall design of the casino, but everything feels sharper and smoother on the smaller screen. We also liked buying GC with Apple Pay, which is faster than typing in your card details.

Security and license

As a legal sweepstakes casino in the U.S., LoneStar does not require a gambling license in the same way as real money casinos. You can’t play games with money, and the cash prizes you can redeem are legally considered to be sweepstakes competitions.

However, LoneStar does take some steps to protect its players. It uses geo-tracking technology to make sure players are in one of the LoneStar legal states. Customer support

LoneStar customer support could be improved. As a new player, the only way to get in touch with the support team is to submit a ticket. During our tests, it took around 8-12 hours to receive a reply each time. Instant support is unlocked once you reach the Gold VIP level, but this takes a while to attain, especially if you're only a casual player

On the bright side, LoneStar is very active on social media and often replies to players' questions and comments.

Summary

LoneStar is a promising social casino that went live in April 2025. There is plenty to like already, but also a fair amount of room for growth and development in the future.

We appreciate the distinctive Wild West theme, which is consistently present throughout the site, from the software to the sheriff-style VIP program. There are 441 games on the menu at the time of writing, including an excellent selection of slots and a hanfdul of other games, such as poker and scratch cards.

We were also impressed by how active LoneStar is on social media, and even managed to pick up some free SC by responding to a post on Facebook.

On the downside, the lack of most table games — especially live dealer games — is noticeable. We’d also like to see live chat support made available to everyone, not just Gold VIP players.
