Roobet welcome bonus

Unlike traditional online casinos that focus on a single large welcome package, Roobet takes a different approach, with the site pushing ongoing cryptocurrency promotions, leaderboard contests, weekly raffles, and frequent cash drop events.

This strategy works better for active players than casual users. Unless you plan to make only one or two deposits, Roobet's welcome package won’t be impressive. However, if you are actively betting throughout casino games and/or sportsbook offerings, then the continuous promotions add up faster than they seem at first glance.

I tested the promotional program on both casino games and sports betting. Rewards were applied consistently during each test session, although some promotions required manual opt-in via the rewards tab.

Promotions

This is where Roobet truly separates itself from standard crypto casinos.

The platform continually runs rotational promotions based on various criteria such as user activity, upcoming sporting events, and community achievements. During testing, I received two unannounced cash drop awards while playing Roobet Originals and one sportsbook odds boost award related to an NHL parlay.

The weekly raffle receives extensive promotion across the site. Users earn raffle entries through their accumulated wagering activity, and winners are awarded prizes ranging from six figures to well over six figures during each drawing period.

Personally, I preferred this format more than a large initial welcome package that disappears after a week. Regular users will receive more long-term reward value.

There is a drawback, however.

The promotional page can become overwhelming, especially on mobile devices. Finding precise terms requires additional mouse clicks than necessary.

VIP and loyalty program

The VIP program at Roobet rewards players for consistent betting action rather than large one-time deposits.

Users progress through betting tiers by generating revenue from wagering activity and subsequently unlock rakeback-style rewards, cashback incentives, reload bonuses, and larger valued cash drops.

While similar in concept to Stake’s VIP program, I believe the program is less transparent due to unclear tier progression requirements.

Although I did find reward frequency adequate during my evaluations.

I received smaller reload bonuses after multiple sportsbook wagers during my evaluation period, and cashback tracking was accurate in the account dashboard.

High-volume cryptocurrency bettors will benefit most from this program. Casual users will unlikely advance quickly enough to realize meaningful benefits.

Deposits and withdrawals

Roobet is touted as one of the best instant withdrawal casinos in Canada, and truthfully, this is where Roobet excelled in my testing.

Both cryptocurrency deposits were quick and easily tracked without requiring manual approval delays. Both withdrawals were processed more quickly than at several larger crypto casinos I have evaluated recently, like Gamdom.

This is still a cryptocurrency-first platform. However, if you wish to deposit via Interac e-Transfer, debit or credit cards, or bank transfer in CAD, these options are available. On average, using Interac for deposits and withdrawals, transactions are processed within two to three hours.

My first withdrawal prompted KYC verification after approximately $400 in aggregate deposits.

Roobet asked for both photo ID and selfie verification. Approval took approximately 27 minutes.

Truthfully, this is quicker than I anticipated. Some offshore casinos keep customers waiting hours or days longer during this phase of their operation.

Crypto banking at Roobet

Roobet has handled crypto appropriately.

That might seem like an obvious statement concerning a crypto casino, yet you’d be amazed how many platforms still suffer from issues surrounding wallet confirmations, manual processing approval delays, or poor transaction tracking.

Roobet is built for a different crowd than traditional online casinos. From its dark aesthetic to speedy Originals games, everything about the platform targets younger crypto users who hang out on Discord, Twitch, and esports sites.

According to Roobet, there are more than 7,000 games available on the site. Unlike some other casinos, the number felt genuine during testing. My test sessions primarily involved switching among Pragmatic Play slots, Evolution live tables, and Roobet Originals. Filtering by search results loads quickly, and searching by provider is easily accessible.

Live casino games

Evolution Gaming powers Roobet’s live casino section. Blackjack streams in HD without any notable buffering. Even on mobile data, Lightning Roulette played smoothly. And Crazy Time remained at consistent quality during peak evening usage. I also tested live baccarat and various game show-style products from Pragmatic Play Live. There were plenty of table-limit options for casual and high-stakes users.

Table games

In addition to the live casino section, Roobet offers blackjack, baccarat, roulette, and video poker variants. However, the table games section is not as robust as the slots section. I wish there were a greater selection of unique blackjack variants. However, since Roobet is clearly skewed towards slots and crypto betting culture, most users likely wouldn’t care.

Roobet Originals

Roobet Originals consist of: Crash, Mines, Towers, Dice, Plinko, Coinflip. Crash generated the most traffic during testing. The chat integration and rapid pace of rounds provided a Twitch-stream-style experience that no traditional casino can match.

Unfortunately, Roobet does not have a dedicated mobile app.

Instead, everything runs through your mobile browser experience. Normally, this would concern me. However, the mobile performance was better than I anticipated. 

I tested Roobet using Safari on an iPhone and Chrome on an Android device. Both loaded quickly and adjusted fine to scale for both sportsbook and casino segments. Crash and Mines specifically worked incredibly well on mobile.

A few of the live casino lobbies seemed cluttered on smaller displays, but nothing malfunctioned or froze.

Average load times ranged from 3 to 5 seconds for all testing sessions.

Security and license

Roobet operates under a Curacao eGaming license.

Many cryptocurrency casinos operate under similar licenses. The license provides a regulatory environment for operations, although it does not provide the same degree of consumer protection as Ontario-regulated platforms.

Outside of Ontario, Canadian users should have little trouble accessing Roobet.

Roobet utilizes SSL encryption and supports two-factor authentication (2FA).

I set up 2FA using Google Authenticator during testing and completing this took less than two minutes. Login notifications worked properly as well.

Cryptocurrency wallet management also seemed secure during testing. I did not run into any instances of suspicious withdrawal delays or manual wallet approvals either.
