Not surprisingly the two teams who will face of in the BCS national championship are also No. 1 and No. 2 in our Power Rankings this week. Michigan State also made a big jump after upsetting Ohio State for the Big Ten title.

The Seminoles got a double dose of good news this week, winning at home over Duke to clinch the ACC Title, and a spot in the National Championship Game. They also learned that star quarterback Jameis Winston will not face charges for an alleged sexual assault.

The Spartans shocked the Buckeyes, winning the Big-Ten Title, finishing 12-1. Michigan State's defense ranked #4 in the nation, allowing just 12.7 points per game.

Special teams killed the Tide in the loss to Auburn, with four missed field goals and a blocked punt. The final nail in the coffin came when the Tigers ran back a missed field go for 109 yard touchdown on the game's final play.

Once again the Cardinal are Pac-12 champions, and they won on the road as an underdog over Arizona State. They will face the Spartans in the Rose Bowl on New Years Day.
