Forget the defensive tactics. This England vs. France showdown has all the ingredients for an open, attacking affair, making the Over the best bet on the board.

My England vs France prop picks

France France 6+ corners

Kalshi probability: 50%

France have taken 66 corners in the tournament so far, averaging 9.4 per game.

They even won seven corners in the semi-final against Spain, which says a lot about the importance of set-pieces in their attacking approach.

I expect that trend to continue for Didier Deschamps' men, and with Kalshi offering +100 odds, I believe this prop is too attractive to ignore.

France/England  Game to be delayed

Kalshi probability: 22%

It wouldn't be the first time in the tournament for either team.

England's Round of 16 clash against Mexico was delayed by an hour after thunderstorms hit Mexico City just a few minutes before kick-off, while France's group-stage game against Iran was temporarily suspended due to severe rain and lightning.

According to the BBC weather outlook, "thundery showers and a moderate breeze" are forecast three to five hours before England and France clash in Miami.

Under FIFA regulations, play must be halted or postponed if there is lightning within eight miles of the venue. The match is only allowed to restart once 30 minutes have elapsed since the last lightning strike.

Considering the +355 pay, I believe this prop is worth exploring.

England Kobbie Mainoo starts for England

Kalshi probability: 51%

Kobbie Mainoo hasn't featured in any of England's games so far, but he could finally be called into Thomas Tuchel's starting XI for Saturday night's third-place match.

A number of changes are expected in both line-ups, with many of the players who haven't featured regularly up to this point poised to finally get their chances.

Mainoo should be among those considered for a starting spot by Tuchel. He could take advantage of the situation, especially with Declan Rice having struggled with his fitness throughout the World Cup.

There have been reports that Mainoo has grown frustrated with his role in the squad, and this could be his chance to make his World Cup debut.
