The Golden State Valkyries will try to move over .500 in Commissioner's Cup action against a Seattle Storm side that has yet to crack the win column at the in-season tournament.

My Valkyries vs Storm WNBA predictions and WNBA picks have Golden State squeezing the league's lowest scoring offense to submission in blowout fashion.

Valkyries vs Storm prediction

Valkyries vs Storm best bet: Valkyries -9.5 (-110)

The Seattle Storm's seven-game skid is about as rough an offensive patch you can hit. During that stretch, the Storm are averaging just 71.7 points while shooting 39.2%.

Their last-place offensive rating has contributed to losing five of the last seven by double digits, and that will be a problem against a Golden State Valkyries team that is allowing only 80.5 points per contest and ranks in the top half of the W in field-goal defense (42.9%).

The Valkyries also handled Seattle 91-80 in the season opener and have covered four of five all-time meetings.

With the matchup favoring Golden State on both ends, I'd back the visitors up to -10.5.

Covers COVERS INTEL: The Valkyries do not lose games within the margins, especially on the defensive end, ranking first in both opponent points off turnovers and points in the paint.

Valkyries vs Storm same-game parlay

Gabby Williams may have gone for 25+ in back-to-back games, but she's hit double-digit scoring just once in nine career games against Seattle, including seven in this year's season opener.

Meanwhile, Dominique Malonga has played just six games this season, missing time due to a concussion, but she's been Seattle's leading scorer when playing. She's scored at least 15 points four times this year.
