Sun vs Storm best bet: Brittney Griner Over 14.5 points (-112)
Brittney Griner leads the Connecticut Sun in scoring at 15 points per tilt, and she’s scored 16 in back-to-back appearances.
The Seattle Storm will be without Dominique Malonga for a third straight contest, and the Storm ceded the most points in the paint to opponents in her absence at a whopping 50 per tilt. In that span, the Storm sport the second-lowest defensive rebound percentage at 63.3%.
Griner posted 16 points on 54.5% shooting against the 6’7 Malonga when she first faced Seattle, but she’ll face less resistance down low tonight, which should lead to easier buckets for the 6’9 veteran.

Over the last two games with Dominique Malonga sidelined, Natisha Hiedeman has led Seattle in playing time and all major scoring categories Her 39 points on 36 shots leaves a lot to be desired in terms of efficiency, but the volume will be there against a terrible Sun defense.
Connecticut is 3-0 ATS across its last three, earning its first win of the season against the Storm on Wednesday. Seattle sports a putrid 93.9 offensive rating with Malonga sidelined, and Connecticut should be able to take advantage of her absence on defense and earn another win.

Griner is tied for the team lead in shot attempts at 11.3, and with a defensive mismatch in the paint, the Sun should look to get her the ball early and often. I’ll bet on her recording the first points of the night against Seattle on Friday.
