The Dallas Wings are starting to turn things around, while the Seattle Storm head to Texas looking to snap out of a recent skid.
Seattle's issues defending the paint and slowing opponents in transition have been a recurring problem, which is why my Storm vs. Wings predictions are targeting Jessica Shepard to pile up another double-double. I'm also backing rookie Azzi Fudd to continue her strong form and score at least 15 points in what projects to be a tightly contested matchup at College Park Center.

Storm vs Wings best bet: Jessica Shepard to record a Double-Double (-110)
Jessica Shepard has recorded five straight double-doubles, including a WNBA-high two triple-doubles. She leads the W in rebounds (11.4) and ranks fifth in assists (6.5). Shepard can record a double-double multiple ways, sweetening this prop’s appeal.
With Ezi Magbegor and Dominique Malonga sidelined, the Seattle Storm lack interior size to compete with Shepard on the glass as Seattle sports the 10th-ranked rebound percentage (67.9).
Shepard’s points line is set at 12.5, and her rebound line at 11.5, but rather than betting on a 13/12 game, we can bet a 10/10 performance for standard odds.
COVERS INTEL: Among players 6’4 or taller, Shepard ranks first in Assist Percentage (32.3) and second in Rebound Percentage (19.2). She can reach double-digit counting stats in rebounds and assists, giving her double-double prop an extra advantage.
Storm vs Wings same-game parlay
Seattle ranks last in field-goal attempts (63.2) and 12th in field goal percentage (41.3). The Storm, however, rank fifth in defensive rating, and both they and Dallas are Bottom 6 teams in Pace. This line opened as high as 170.5, but I’ll still take it at 166.5.
Azzi Fudd has scored 46 points over her last two games, and in that span, she leads Dallas in fast-break point percentage (21.7). Seattle’s quality perimeter defense may be able to limit the sharpshooter from distance, but the Storm allows the most fast-break points (10.6).
