The WNBA rolls out a two-game evening slate packed with strong betting opportunities in the prop market.
Azura Stevens, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell are in exploitable matchups tonight, offering solid value in their WNBA player prop markets.
Read on for my WNBA picks for Sunday, August 31.
WNBA player prop bets for August 31
Stevens o1.5 threes (+130)
Boston o3.5 assists (+100)
Mitchell o20.5 points (-108)
Azura Stevens Over 1.5 threes
Azura Stevens has quietly become one of the WNBA’s most reliable perimeter threats, and tonight’s matchup with the Washington Mystics sets up well for her 3-point prop.
The Los Angeles Sparks forward is averaging more than 28 minutes per game while hitting nearly 42% of her attempts from deep on four tries per contest.
While Washington boasts one of the league’s top defenses against the 3-point shot (holding opponents to 33%), recent form tells a different story.
Over their past five games, the Mystics have allowed opponents to connect on 41% of 21 attempts per outing.
Stevens has cashed at least two triples in two of her last five games, and the pace of this matchup should provide enough clean looks for another successful night.

Aliyah Boston Over 3.5 assists
Aliyah Boston has stepped into a larger playmaking role for the Indiana Fever, whose backcourt has been thinned by injuries, and that opens up strong value on her assists prop.
Opponents have consistently double-teamed the All-Star forward, and Boston has answered by dropping dimes out of those traps.
The Golden State Valkyries' interior defense is one of the stingiest in the league, which should force Boston to find teammates on the perimeter and cutters in the half-court.
The Valkyries’ slow pace also creates a grind-it-out style that favors set plays, giving Boston plenty of chances to rack up dimes.
Boston averages 3.6 assists per game this season and has cleared her prop total in three of her last five outings.

Kelsey Mitchell Over 20.5 points
Kelsey Mitchell has been Indiana’s primary scorer all season, and tonight’s matchup with Golden State should give her a chance to rebound.
The All-Star guard averages 20.5 points per game on 45% shooting overall and 39.5% from three on more than six attempts.
With the Valkyries’ defense collapsing on Boston inside, Mitchell should see plenty of clean looks as a perimeter option and cutter off double-teams.
She’s coming off a 12-point stinker in Los Angeles but has topped 20.5 points in four of her last five contests. Given her volume and efficiency, Mitchell is a strong bet to score at least 21 points tonight.
