Fever vs Tempo prediction: Fever -13.5
The Indiana Fever will hope the World Cup trophy isn’t the only silverware that Caitlin Clark hoists this year, and the schedule has handed Indy a friendly return to action here against a Toronto Tempo team limping to the finish line.
The Tempo, missing leading scorers Marina Mabrey and Brittney Sykes tonight, have lost 16 of their last 17 games, and they’re just 6-10 ATS at home this year.
Look for unfamiliar lineups to lead to clunky possessions and a cluster of turnovers here, and a league-leading Fever offense should have no trouble building a big lead, especially when they average 10.4 triples a game.
The visitors covered the spread in five of their final eight contests before the World Cup break, and they’ve poured in 100+ points in four of their last five outings.

Both teams have hammered the Over this season, so I’m pairing a big Fever win with a potent shooting night. The Over has been a winning ticket in 25 of Indiana’s 40 contests this year, and the Tempo’s banged-up rotation has no shot at containing Clark and Kelsey Mitchell on the perimeter.
With Indiana very capable of doing the heavy lifting for this total, Toronto has just enough bucket-getters to test the visitors’ less-than-stellar defense (91 PPG allowed in 2026).
Mitchell is shooting a career-best 46% from downtown this season, and I’m wagering that she won’t have cooled off during the break. She nailed 3+ three-pointers in eight of her 11 outings in August and stands out as a beneficiary if the Fever limit minutes for Clark and Aliyah Boston.
