Dream vs Liberty Predictions, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s WNBA Game

Even against a solid defense like the Dream's, Sabrina Ionescu can make things happen and we like her to not only clear 18.5 points but to hit 20+ in the alt market.

The New York Liberty will look to bounce back from their first loss of the season when the 8-3 Atlanta Dream visit Barclays Center tonight.

Sabrina Ionescu has been red-hot as a scorer, and my Dream vs. Liberty predictions expect that to continue tonight.

Read my WNBA picks to see why I’m taking an alt line on her points prop on Tuesday, June 17.

Dream vs Liberty predictions

My Dream vs Liberty best bet: Sabrina Ionescu Over 18.5 (-120 at bet365)

Sabrina Ionescu’s scoring line is set at 18.5 with -120 odds. That’s not a bad price, but we can certainly do better. For just one point more, we can get even money, and that’s exactly what we’ll do.

Over her last six, Ionescu has scored at least 20 points four times while averaging 23.3 points and 3.7 triples. In one of the games she fell short, she dropped 18 points in just 19 minutes as the New York Liberty steamrolled the Connecticut Sun 100-52.

New York’s hot-handed guard has averaged 21.7 across her last three home games, shooting 50% from the floor, 44.4% from beyond the arc, and a perfect 9 of 9 from the charity stripe. She posted a season-high 34 points in Saturday’s duel with Caitlin Clark and the Fever, and she’ll be fired up to get her team back in the win column.

The Atlanta Dream have allowed the second-fewest points per game to opponents this season, but they’ve been only average against 3-point shooters, and premier scorers have fared well against them.

Connecticut’s Marina Mabrey went off for a season-best 34 points against the Dream, while Los Angeles’ Kelsey Plum dropped 27, and Clark scored 32.

Ionescu is averaging a career-best 19.5 points this season, and her 43.8% shooting mark is the most efficient since her rookie campaign. Her recent hot streak as a scorer should propel her to another 20-point outing tonight in a game that could be hotly contested.

Dream vs Liberty same-game parlay (SGP)

Sabrina Ionescu 20+ points

Under 163

Brionna Jones double-double

Ionescu should enjoy a productive night, but I’m not expecting a ton of points overall.

The Liberty have allowed the fewest points per game, and the Dream have allowed the second-fewest. New York ranks first in defensive rating, while Atlanta ranks third. The Liberty are 2-5 to the Under across their last seven, while the Dream are 2-4-1 in that span.

Jones is averaging 13 points and 8.7 boards this season, and she ranks second in the W in offensive rebounds per game at 3.5 and sixth in total rebounds per game. She’s produced a double-double in six of 11 contests, and she gets a favorable matchup tonight.

New York has allowed the most rebounds per game to opponents and easily the most offensive rebounds. Jones’ double-double prop comes with juicy +225 odds, making it a nice addition to this three-leg parlay.
