Felder vs dos Anjos Betting Preview
Paul "The Irish Dragon" Felder enters at No. 7 in the UFC lightweight rankings and is fresh off an exciting split-decision loss to Dan Hooker in February, which earned Fight of the Night honors.
Felder is 5-2 in his last seven fights with both of those losses coming by close split decisions. With a background in Taekwondo and Muay Thai, the Irish Dragon is an excellent striker that uses creativity and pressure to deal damage.
Dos Anjos is just 1-4 in his last five fights and is coming off a unanimous-decision loss to Michael Chiesa in January. That said, the veteran has been fighting in the UFC since 2008 and has some impressive wins on his resume, including victories against ranked welterweights Kevin Lee, Neil Magny and Robbie Lawler over the last three years.
Dos Anjos was briefly the UFC lightweight champion, after defeating Anthony Pettis in 2015. and is returning to the 155-pound division after spending the last few years at welterweight. The 36-year-old is a well-rounded fighter that combines high-volume striking with strong grappling.

Felder vs dos Anjos UFC Prediction and Betting Picks
PREDICTION: Dos Anjos to win -158 - There aren't many guys that would take a weight cut and a five-round fight on such short notice, but Felder is hyper-competitive and essentially said YOLO. This is the fourth bout in recent memory that Felder has accepted with little time to prepare: a knockout win over Danny Castillo in 2015, a fantastic performance in a loss against Edson Barboza later that same year, and a split-decision defeat at the hands of Mike Perry two years ago.
That said, it's a massive challenge for anyone to take a fight on just six days' notice, especially a 36-year-old like Felder, who was contemplating retirement just months ago and was actually set to work the event as a color-commentator.
Although dos Anjos is 1-4 in his last five fights, three of those losses came against elite welterweights like Kamaru Usman, Colby Covington and Leon Edwards, all of whom used their superior size to neutralize him with wrestling.
Dos Anjos is still a dangerous striker and thanks to his grappling ability is a more well-rounded fighter than Felder. Being able to take him at this price is well worth it.
PREDICTION: Dos Anjos to win by points +134 - While we think dos Anjos will get the victory it will difficult for him to get the stoppage, since Felder has only been finished once in 22 career fights. That TKO loss to Francesco Trinaldo came all the way back in 2016—and was stopped by a ringside doctor even though Felder was still fighting.
Five of dos Anjos' last six fights have gone the distance, including four bouts that went 25 minutes. Back dos Anjos to win via points.
PREDICTION: Fight to go the distance Yes -174 - We mentioned how often dos Anjos' fights go the distance with our previous prop pick but it's also worth pointing out that he has been finished just once in his last 23 fights since 2011.
Felder's power gives him a solid chance in this fight but despite having ten knockout wins in his career, his last four fights have all gone the distance. If Khabib, Covington, Usman and Tony Ferguson couldn't finish dos Anjos, I don't see Felder doing the job. Expect this fight to go the full 25 minutes.
