Baylor vs Arizona State Picks & Props
BAY vs ASU Picks
NCAAF PicksPlayable to 53%.
The strength of the Baylor roster is their defense, with new defensive coordinator Joe Klanderman already showing why he was hired this past offseason. Baylor has held Auburn to 3.2 yards per carry, Prairie View to 1.4 yards per carry, and Colorado to 2.1 yards per carry already in 2026.
Playable to 48%.
D.J. Lagway sustained an ankle injury in the season opener, forcing him to miss two games. He threw for only 221 yards in his return to the field last weekend against an underwhelming Colorado defense. Lagway has always been an erratic signal caller, evident by his 23 interceptions in two years at Florida. Those struggles appear to have followed him to Baylor, with an ankle injury only further complicating his path to success.
Playable to 54%.
D.J. Lagway has not played well early this season, and he may not be completely healthy heading into this Week 5 matchup against a good Arizona State defense. Lagway's struggled have been amplified when under duress early in 2026, completing only 8-of-25 pass attempts for 147 yards.
I think this will close at 4.5, maybe even 5, so let's get infront of this. What I like most about this for Arizona State is the spot. They're coming off a bye and they haven't been at home in a while. Statistically, Arizona State is better in yards per play margin, despite the fact that they've played a tougher schedule.
Playable to 33%.
Arizona State doesn't have the offensive firepower or the protection up front to compete in a shootout this weekend. The Sun Devils will need their defense to play well to give them a chance to win, making this a correlated combo play.
