Breanna Stewart is taking on the lead role in the New York Liberty in a big way right now with Sabrina Ionescu out of the lineup. Stewart scored 31 points in her debut on Friday, and should have little trouble getting Over her total today against the Washington Mystics.

Stewart made a flying start on Friday at Barclays Center, scoring the first basket of the game on the way to 10 first-quarter points. That was the spark for a 106-point outing for New York, and I’m counting on a similar script here.
Once again, with key starters out, the Liberty will be leaning on Stewart’s shot-making here, and I like these odds for her to impose her will early against an athletic Washington frontcourt. Stewie’s inside-outside game will stretch the Mystics’ defensive scheme, and it would be no surprise to see the visitors go to Stewart on the opening few possessions after her efficient effort in the season opener.

Kelsey Plum o1.5 3-Pointers Made (-135)
Kelsey Plum has hit at least 2.4 threes per game in each of her last four seasons. She's also known for her season-opening performances after scoring 37 points in her first game with the Los Angeles Sparks last year. I love Plum to hit at least two shots from deep as she takes on her former team today.
A'ja Wilson o38.5 Total Points, Rebounds, and Assists (-112)
The Las Vegas Aces got their ring night ruined with a 33-point whooping on their home floor. Pretty sure that this pissed off A'ja Wilson. The reigning MVP posted a modest 19-point, 4 rebounds, 4 assists showing in the Aces opener and they'll have little time to digest it as they have their first back-to-back in facing the Los Angeles Sparks. Expect L.A. to feel the wrath of A'ja in this one.

I backed Veronica Burton to hit her made threes prop in the season opener after seeing her volume - and success - from deep increase late last season and into the 2026 preseason. She hit two threes on Friday night, and if anything, I'm expecting higher volume from her going forward. Until the sportsbooks start adjusting her odds, Burton's three-pointers prop is a must play.
Natasha Mack o8.5 Total Rebounds (-125)
Mack pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds in Saturday’s blowout victory over the Las Vegas Aces, making the most of her boosted role in Phoenix’s new-look rotation. She averaged a career-best 5.8 rebounds per game last season in just 18.3 minutes per game, drawing 23 starts. In seven games played with at least 23 minutes, she averaged 9.4 boards and grabbed 9+ six times. She logged 25 minutes against Vegas, but she could have seen even more playing time had the Mercury not won by 33 points. The Valkyries surrendered the fourth-most rebounds (41) and second-most offensive rebounds (13) in their opener against the Seattle Storm.
