Atlanta has a split in the season series, winning June 29, a 90-81 win at home against the Liberty, where it shot 52.9% from the field and enjoyed a +8 rebounding advantage. That loss has been during this rough stretch the Liberty is currently enduring after starting the year 9-0. They've gone 4-6 since, allowing at least 89 points in five of those six losses. That's partly due to injuries, as center Jonquel Jones (ankle) has now missed seven straight games and won't be back until after the All-Star break. New York has owned this head-to-head, winning eight of the last 10, but Atlanta has been the pick against the spread, covering three straight and going 5-1-0 ATS in the previous six. The Liberty might be 8-2 at home this season, but they're just 5-4-1 ATS. Atlanta's best chance to win against New York is now, but we'll stick to them covering this one.

Canada lit it up in Friday’s loss to the Indiana Fever, scoring 30 points on 11-for-22 shooting and adding eight assists while her teammates struggled to get going. That came on the heels of a 25-point outing against the Seattle Storm last week. Atlanta has no shortage of backcourt talent to test New York on the perimeter, but Canada has played her way into more court time – 33+ minutes in four of her last five games. Her six 3-pointers against the Fever were an outlier, but she’s gone past this 21.5 combo line in four of her last five contests. Canada’s steady playmaking should help propel her to the Over here, with 37 dimes across her past five outings, and don’t be surprised if she pulls down a few rebounds for good measure. She’s averaging 3.5 RPG this year.
