The New York Liberty will try to string together back-to-back wins for the first time since early June when they host the Atlanta Dream.

The Dream's season-long 6-game roadie (with the WNBA All-Star Game tucked neatly within it) got off to a rocky start, getting whipped in Indiana, part of the reason they're 4.5-point road dogs in the WNBA odds.

Our Dream vs Liberty prediction has Atlanta staying within range of that point spread. Read on for my WNBA picks for Sunday, July 13.

Dream vs Liberty predictions

My Dream vs Liberty best bet: Dream +4.5 (-110 at FanDuel)

The Atlanta Dream has lost four of its last six, including last game's 99-82 drubbing at the hands of the Fever, the Dream's most lopsided defeat of the season.

But they are in a better position to compete with the New York Liberty, as they've found some juice on offense. A team that ranked dead last in scoring in 2024 is now fourth, at 84.3 points per game.

That's just a few points behind the WNBA-leading Liberty, who post 86.7 points per contest.

Atlanta has a split in the season series, winning June 29, a 90-81 win at home against the Liberty, where it shot 52.9% from the field and enjoyed a +8 rebounding advantage.

That loss has been during this rough stretch the Liberty is currently enduring after starting the year 9-0. They've gone 4-6 since, allowing at least 89 points in five of those six losses.

That's partly due to injuries, as center Jonquel Jones (ankle) has now missed seven straight games and won't be back until after the All-Star break.

New York has owned this head-to-head, winning eight of the last 10, but Atlanta has been the pick against the spread, covering three straight and going 5-1-0 ATS in the previous six.

The Liberty might be 8-2 at home this season, but they're just 5-4-1 ATS. Atlanta's best time to take a win against New York is now, but we'll stick to them covering this one.

Dream vs Liberty same-game parlay (SGP)

Dream +4.5

Allisha Gray o17.5 points

Sabrina Ionescu o2.5 made threes

Coming off her worst scoring effort of the season, Allisha Gray is looking to bounce back after shooting 2-for-9 for six points against Indiana.

That effort dropped her total to 17.5 points against New York. It's a gettable figure, considering Gray just went for 20 in the last meeting, and averages 18.7 points on the season.

We'll wrap with Sabrina Ionescu, who led the Liberty in scoring with 28 points in the win over Vegas.

She connected on just 1 of 9 from 3-point range, snapping her streak of three straight games with at least three 3-point hits.

Expect a bounce back, as Ionescu has shot 7-for-15 from distance in two meetings against Atlanta this year, breaking that 2.5 make line in both meetings already.
