It’s been tough sledding on the road this season for the Connecticut Sun and Washington Mystics, who are a combined 4-17 on their travels, but they’ll both have a chance to improve that tally in today’s WNBA action.

Meanwhile, the New York Liberty and Atlanta Dream square off in Sunday’s marquee showdown, with the Liberty looking to build on their 8-2 record at Barclays Center this year.

The WNBA player props market offers plenty of tasty odds across the board, so check out my Top 3 WNBA picks for the July 13 slate.

WNBA player prop bets for July 13

  • Dream  Jordin Canada Over 21.5 points + rebounds + assists (-118)
  • Sparks  Rickea Jackson Over 12.5 points (+100)
  • Mystics  Shakira Austin Over 22.5 points + rebounds (-106)

Today's best WNBA player props bets

Jordin Canada Over 21.5 points + rebounds + assists (-118 FanDuel)

Year 8 might not be the most typical moment for a career leap, but Jordin Canada has found an extra gear over the past few weeks, keeping the 12-8 Atlanta Dream on course for a playoff spot. I like her chances of continuing her hot streak this afternoon against the New York Liberty.

Canada lit it up in Friday’s loss to the Indiana Fever, scoring 30 points on 11-for-22 shooting and adding eight assists while her teammates struggled to get going. That came on the heels of a 25-point outing against the Seattle Storm last week.

Atlanta has no shortage of backcourt talent to test New York on the perimeter, but Canada has played her way into more court time – 33+ minutes in four of her last five games. Her six 3-pointers against the Fever were an outlier, but she’s gone past this 21.5 combo line in four of her last five contests.

Canada’s steady playmaking should help propel her to the Over here, with 37 dimes across her past five outings, and don’t be surprised if she pulls down a few rebounds for good measure. She’s averaging 3.5 RPG this year.

Rickea Jackson Over 12.5 points (+100 bet365)

Rickea Jackson can sometimes get lost in the shuffle with Kelsey Plum and Dearica Hamby as the Los Angeles Sparks’ most prominent one-two punch. Though 2025 has been a little rocky, with Jackson falling short of her rookie year magic, her past few outings provided reasons for optimism, particularly as a bucket-getter.

I like the Over on 12.5 points for Jackson here at this price, and she’s cashed that prop in three of her last four contests, including a 14-point effort with two 3-pointers against the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday.

Now she gets to face the 3-17 Connecticut Sun, who allow a league-worst 87.9 PPG and gave up 48 second-half points to the Seattle Storm on Friday. This is a golden opportunity for the Sparks to put a disappointing 3-7 stretch behind them, and Jackson has established steady shot volume this season, with double-digit field goal attempts in 11 straight games.

Jackson had 14+ points in three of the four meetings between these teams in 2024, and she’s trending towards a similar total today.

Shakira Austin Over 22.5 points + rebounds (-106 FanDuel)

The Washington Mystics are quietly hanging around the WNBA postseason race this season, winning five of their last seven matchups. While Brittney Sykes is still the big hitter on the Washington roster, the young talent is shining through too, including rookies Kiki Iriafen and Sonia Citron.

But I’m looking at a fourth key Mystics contributor for this prop pick. Shakira Austin’s numbers since mid-June have been eye-catching in the Washington frontcourt, and I see her nailing the Over on this 22.5 combo line here.

Austin finished with 16 points and eight rebounds in Thursday’s win over the Las Vegas Aces, and this Over has been a winning ticket in six of her past eight outings.

Today’s battle with the veteran Seattle Storm is a real clash of youth vs. experience, and that paves the way for Austin to use her athleticism on both ends of the floor.

Her rebounding numbers give this prop a nice floor – 7+ boards in eight of her last 10 games – while she’s averaged 13.8 FGA per game across her past eight contests.
