Overall, the Liberty are 4-2-1 against the spread vs Las Vegas in those games. New York tied for the best home record in the W last season, going 16-4 overall, though the Aces weren’t slouches on the road, going 14-6, tied for the second-best away record in 2024. It’s no surprise either that these teams are 1-2 at the top of the WNBA Championship odds. The deciding factor in this season-opening matchup is the juice the Liberty carry over from last year. It should be close, but I like New York to open the year with a victory.
