Dominic Canzone finds himself in a great spot to continue his recent surge at the plate against Baltimore Orioles right-hander Brandon Young. The Seattle Mariners slugger has cleared this hits, runs, and RBI prop in six of his last 10 elite-rated spots, according to Batters-Box, and his underlying metrics receive a significant boost against Young's pitch mix. Canzone has been scorching right-handed pitching lately, posting a 1.324 OPS, .857 slugging percentage, and .428 ISO over his last 30 plate appearances. With Young struggling to contain left-handed bats and allowing plenty of hard-hit fly balls, Canzone is worth backing tonight.

The Miami Marlins will try to stack their lineup with upwards of six left-handed bats against right-hander Ryne Nelson of the Diamondbacks to gain a platoon advantage, but I actually still like the matchup for Nelson. Nelson is excellent at using his high-riding four-seamer up in the zone and in on the hands of lefties, preventing them from getting their arms extended in their swings. He’s actually been stronger against left-handed hitters this season than right-handed hitters, who are only batting .219 with a .705 OPS against him. He’ll also be protected by the deep right-center field wall at loanDepot Park. The Diamondbacks are trading at -110 on the moneyline, but I price them closer to a -145 favorite.
The Marlins rank 26th in overall xwOBA across the past 30 days, while the Diamondbacks check in sixth, so I’m expecting the Snakes to put enough runs on the board to pull away tonight. Arizona star Corbin Carroll has also hit the Over in this market in 19 of his past 26 games, and he’s also posted a monster .375 wOBA against righties since the beginning of 2025. Turning to Diamondbacks starter Ryne Nelson, he’s dipped to a 16.8 K% across his past seven starts while throwing fewer fastballs and adding a sinker to his pitch mix. It’s a clear recipe for success with his solid 2.89 ERA and 0.99 WHIP during the stretch, too.

Okamoto barrels the baseball well against left-handed pitchers, resulting in a .417 average against Luzardo’s three most-used pitches with an .833 slug and a 57.9% hard-hit rate.
Jays starter Max Scherzer has faced JT Realmuto 64 times in his career and owns a 31.2% strikeout rate against him. The Phillies catcher also owns just a .184 average against the four-seamer with a 19.6% K-rate, which is Scherzer's top pitch. Add Over 0.5 strikeouts for Realmuto.

I'll continue fading the Angels after wins. They've been the worst team in baseball in that spot, posting an 8-17 record following a victory. Houston is also well-positioned against Reid Detmers, ranking among the league's best offenses versus left-handed pitching over the past month. While Detmers has pitched well, the Angels are just 4-9 in his starts. If this game is close late, the Astros' red-hot bullpen gives them another edge.
Angels right-handed hitters Zach Neto and Oswald Peraza have a sneaky matchup with Astros starter Peter Lambert sporting reverse splits and allowing a healthy .365 wOBA to righty bats. Neto and Peraza both hit in the top half of the Los Angeles lineup and check in with respective .372 and .375 wOBAs against right-handed arms this season. While Angels starter Reid Detmers sports an impressive 28.5 K% this season, I’m anticipating him having a tougher time racking up punchouts with the Astros ranking sixth in wOBA while striking out at the fourth-lowest clip against southpaws.
