On the final day of the Premier League season, Tottenham host Everton knowing they need a result to avoid relegation and outright humiliation.

Although there's been improvement in Spurs’ fortunes since Roberto De Zerbi took charge, my Tottenham vs. Everton predictions are backing the road team to leave with either a draw or a win.

Find out more in my free betting picks for Sunday, May 24, with kickoff set for 11 a.m. ET on NBC.

Premier League predictions for Tottenham vs Everton

My Tottenham vs Everton best bet: Tie or Everton (-120 at Sports Interaction)

Tottenham have averaged just a point per game against teams ranked 13th or higher in the Premier League, and Spurs have the luxury of knowing that a potential draw on Sunday — or even defeat — could still keep them in the Premier League, depending on West Ham’s result against Leeds.

Meanwhile, Everton will be motivated to win, especially for manager David Moyes, who had two spells in charge of the Hammers.

Everton rank sixth in the Premier League for away form, having won or drawn 12 of their 18 road games. They’ve also done so with the best defensive record away from home in the league, trailing only Arsenal and Manchester City.

Tottenham vs Everton same-game parlay (SGP)

Both teams to score

Pedro Porro 2+ shots

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall 1+ shot on target

We’ve seen both teams score in 72.2% of Spurs’ home games this season and in four of De Zerbi’s six games in charge. Everton have also scored in eight of their nine EPL road games since the turn of the year.

Playing right-back in De Zerbi’s system has allowed Pedro Porro to get forward more often, as well as take free kicks for Spurs. In six games under De Zerbi, he has registered 10 shots and has been heavily involved in attack.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has also been in sensational form. He has recorded eight shots on target across his last nine games in all competitions and remains an integral part of Everton’s offense.
