heard that sony is giving away 5 free games , but you only get to choose 2 ... I think the games are Infamous, Little Big Planet, Super Stardust HD, Dead Nation, and WipeOut HD  .
 So just wondering what you guys would pick because I haven't played any of these games (leaning towards Wipeout and Dead Nation)

also you get something called PS Plus for a month, but I have no idea what it is used for

PS Plus is basically a Bullshit pay-monthly subscription to get demos(That become available for free in a week or 2) and discounts as well as $10 games. IMO it certainly isn't worth paying for...

Completely agree, not worth it... though it will be good to have it for a month and try to get something out of it..

I have dead nation which is pretty cool, I would take Little Big Planet ( I have never played it, but heard good things ) and either WipeOut or Stardust..

Where did you heard this ?

My buddy paid to get it for 3 months because you had to have it to get the new Mortal Kombat Demo, so he did... And 2 days later they had the Demo up for free in the PS store...

Why do you have to pay to get a Fucking Demo...

They know Mortal Kombat is one of the best game franchises and that a lot of people would love to play the demo..    

Just another trick to get more people to buy it.. they knew they where some hardcore MK fans or people really looking forward to it..

Shit like that makes me feel better about not buying it...

Now its BS that everybody gets PS+.. There is people who payed for it and now everybody is getting 1 month free..

I mean its good for us that never payed for it.. but gotta feel shittty if you are of the ones that spent their money on it..

Im probably going to get inFAMOUS and Wipeout, If you have Black Ops there is no point in getting dead nation because it is basically the same game as dead ops. I wish they would give us better than this garbage

Ever since this was fixed, I have not been able to log in to PS Store.

Not once.

I just tried now, and it's still in maintenance.

Anyone in the same boat?

Yea. It has to be their gameplan. Promise free give-a-ways but don't let you redeem them.

 

Nah...they're probably just reworking the system. The #1 concern was getting gamers back on. The store was probably in the back of their mind.
