The San Antonio Spurs will not only cover the spread, they will beat the Grizzilies. The +3 insurance points makes this game the biggest lock in a while. Some information you should be aware of if the fact that Tim Duncan is coming off his birthday celebration on April 25th. Arriving at the end of his career Duncan's birthday surely opened up his eyes that he has not too many oppurtunities to win an NBA title. Thus, making tomorrow's game a must win. Terry Cummings, a former Spur in the 1990's has taken on the posistion as an ordained minister. He has since reamined a loyal Spurs fan and has been giving his blessings to the San Antonio Spurs franchise. With God on their side, the spiritual edge goes to the Spurs. In addition, it is kind of depressing to note that the Grizz mascot is currently on a medical leave of absence from the team. Who will replace him? good question. It has been circulated that a last minute shotgun decision has granted the important posistion to a first timer. A rookie mascot will surely not be able to trigger enough enthusiasm into the home crowd. Thus, decreasing their home court advantage. The grizzlies are coming off a heart breaking loss and the teams frustration has clearly shown as Drew Graham refused to speak to reporters after kicking a garbage can inside the hallways after the loss. Will the Grizzilies be able to recover from this frustration? No. Although both franchises have come from different cities (Memphis from Vancouver, and San Antonio from Dallas, both teams are heading in different directions). Memphis, being a well known high crime rate city, will expierience another crime -murder to the hands of the Spurs.
To add Ketchup to the fries,an organization that cannot even select a singer that knows the national anthem, will not be able to select a team capable of surpassing the San Antonio Spurs in a 7 Game Series.
