Renting a Motorcycle

My wife and I decided to get out of Chicago's deep freeze for a couple days. Thinking of renting a motorcycle for a day trip. All the places have pretty standard rates, but if anyone has a favorite, or a "covers hookup", please advise. If my wife wants to go, I'll probably get a road king or similar, with a windshield and back rest. If not, something more agile. So, the question is, where should I head for a good day trip?

The Harley Davidson in Las Vegas on Eastern is suppose to be the

world's largest Harley Davidson.

They rent motor cycles.

I dont ride but I do deliver their and pick some up.

I did pick one up their that someone totaled.

People rent them and either dont know how to drive a big bike or let someone else drive it that dont know how to drive at all.

It was destroyed, someone's friend jumped on it and took off,

fast and off a 30 ft drop, he went to the hospital bike was totaled and

their insurance company sold it to someone.

Just make sure you can handle what you rent and make sure you are

covered by insurance

.Now where to go.

cruise red rock, out to Lake las vegas and Lake mead-if you go back way they are right next to each other.

Hoover dam, Mt charleston-but might be a little cold up their right now.

grand canon or Laughlin.

Anything further would be really more then a day trip.

Laughlin is a couple of hours and would be ideal, I drove Vegas to Hoover dam and then to Laughlin and back to downtown Vegas , it was fantastic day trip, had a nice buffet lunch at the golden nugget right on the river, hit some video poker winners and made the sweet ride back - enjoy, --- was traveling by car tho
